That was interesting, yeah many confuse lust with love, they are not the same. Lust can never be the foundation of any long lasting relationship, bc as soon as people see someone better they will be tempted to jump aboard. However I think the man being provider with the women being in charge of house is how it's been for most of human history, that cannot be a coincidence, but I guess part of how God designed family to be originally. Granted that today many couples need both to work, but even then given the mother will always be more closely tied to kids bc she literally has them for 9 months within her, it makes sense she would be more involved in their upbringing and taking care of house overall.
I think you hit it right on target. I'm an older guy, so I'm coming from another generation which happens to agree with your ideals. BUT, there will always be those men who satisfy the urges vs being a man and responsible and respectful. Just my point of view. Though you are on track. Very impressive for a young guy like yourself. A wise soul. I think your parents brought you up well. I like your point about discipline. Important, always.
