- A section of bodaboda operators have already embraced electric motorcycles even as the government announces plans to rollout affordable electric motorbikes for the operators as promised by President William Ruto during this year’s Madaraka day celebrations in Embu. The riders in an interview with Citizen’s tv Ben Kirui revealed that the electric bikes were affordable and cost-saving.

such things are always successfull when done on pilot mode but ikifika ni full role out they normally create massive issues and gaps that force people to revert back to petrol use

Meaning ksh.350= ×7 Days = Bro you use more than what u save a day..
Fuel would be Sh700 to Sh800 which is double the amount

Mine once I put full tank take me for two weeks and a day then I top up. I don't put it daily.
Even then one who refill don't put Ksh. 800= per day.

2030 manufacturers wanaanza ku scale down production ya internal combustion waki progress to electric. Other asian countries are doing it.

@@bensonngichabe5052 YES!!!!!!, the difference is that huwezi ku overload an electric bike venye sai wanaload Hadi 6 bags of charcoal. Which is good coz they do it with impunity and disregard rule of law.
