The scene with barry pepper from Saving Private Ryan is probably the best of the 5. the bullet going through the scope and taking out the shooters eye is freakin' awesome, followed by the triple kill in Captain Phillips.
Ha ha. No sniper would ever place himself in such an obvious position and have to subject his aim to downward shooting. How could he change his position? It's all about manoeuvre. Don't think snipers remain in a fixed position.

The #1 spot was based on a true story. Snipers took out 3 guys at the same time to avoid either one killing the kidnapped captain played by Tom Hanks. That end sequence made the whole movie! Those 3 Somalis had a fraction of the American navy facing them and thought they could somehow get away with it all. 3 targets, 3 different snipers, at sea bobbing up,down, left and right but when time came, precision.
