- This salad makes a great appetizer for parties, pair with beer, or eaten with rice. It’s refreshing, light, and simple to make. One of my childhood favorites so hope you enjoy!
4-5 Serving
Ingredients for salad:
1 free range chicken (approx. 3.5 lb)
2 thinly sliced red onion
1 bunch Vietnamese coriander herb (Rau Răm)
1/2 cup and 2 tbsp Vietnamese salad dressing ( • How To Make Vietnamese... )
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 lemon, squeezed
4 Thai chilies, sliced
To boil chicken:
7 quart of water
4 ginger, sliced
1 tbsp salt

Blissful One Yes, that is chicken salad with cabbage (Gỏi Gà Bắp Cải ) normally eaten with Chao. This is a different version with its own fish sauce dressing.
