How would I know if my baby is rolling tummy to back correctly? He did it twice at 2 months and then again at 2.5 months another 3 times today. The first 2 times, he pushed up with his right arm the first time and started to roll his whole body over, but pulled himself back to his belly, then pushed up again with his right arm and pushed his head over and seemed stuck at the hips for about 20 seconds and then used his top leg to finish rolling over. We put him back on his tummy and he did the same thing but to the left side. Today (2.5 months), he just rolled over all in one motion right after we rolled him on to his belly. He pushed up high on his arms then extended his left arm and rolled his whole body over in one motion. He had a completely uneventful vaginal birth and had an APGAR score of a 9 (one point deducted for slightly purple feet). My only concern with him is that his arms are less rigid than my other 3 children’s were. He uses them and bats at my face and toys and has started to even reach out some while on tummy time and when held upright, but he also lets them hang sometimes. He also doesn’t do the pull to sit exercise well (he can do it, but doesn’t engage and tuck his chin to his chest and pull his knees up most of the time). He is a very long baby almost 25” at 2.5 months and has very long arms and torso. I don’t know if that contributes to his body control or not.
I could help you better if I saw a video of how he is moving. Please post a video on my Facebook Group and I will do a free review for you. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
Hi.. do we need to consult with doctor on this?? My 4months old baby is also facing this issue when rolling over… she rolls over occasionally but sometimes she gets stuck on head… please reply
You can bring this up with your doctor, unless there are other obvious problems they probably won't do anything and tell you to "wait and see." If your child is 4 months old she is not on track for optimal development. It doesn't mean something is wrong, your baby could have simple movement glitches. So if you want be proactive, start manually teaching your daughter her milestones. www.movementlesson.academy/baby-classes-0-1-2-3-4-months-old

That really depends on the parents. Some or okay with atypical. Some are not. For those who are not, we can help them be proactive and work with their baby and optimizing their movements for more optimal development.
If you post a video in my Facebook Group I can give you more guidance on what you need to specifically do for your child and the milestone movements that are missing in her body - facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
