- Here is a look at Malibu's radio controlled 1/10th scale General Lee ('69 Dodge Charger) which was released in 2005 as part of the official merchandise of the 2005 "Dukes of Hazzard" movie.
Definately on me list👍👍👍👍
I bought one on eBay for nearly $200 bones…. And built my own hobby grade general Lee that stops people in their tracks…. Dude bro inspired me as well as Bluant and Dave A… legends in these Rc builds. Thanks for your contribution….
those guys are definitely legends. I still watch go back and watch Dudebro's and Bluant's videos whenever I can
My grandparents bought me this is 2006 for my birthday when I was 5, I still have it and it still runs
awesome love the General Lee!
me too :) I can't wait to show off the modified version
Me to I hate that they took down the dukes of hazard
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs and John Schneider jumped it lol
Cool video Alex! Who would of thought there would be a history to UA-cam General Lee RC car videos? (lol!) Fun stuff! Looking forward to your build.
wow thanks for the unexpected reply, Dudebro! I got one of my buddies to fix up my other General Lee. It looks really strong now! I should have a video for the hobbygraded General Lee in a few months. I'll message you when it's ready so you can see :D
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs hey I have one the remote is totally corrded and broken I just bought it off eBay and tips or advice for me the car is fine but I’m sad and disappointed at the same time any advice for me a remote is hard to get rn from Malibu toys
I wish I had a General Lee RC car now that would be dope
it's pretty amazing - they're still being sold randomly on ebay
xprinceofmacedonx yea for an arm and a leg used or new they ask around 300-400$ it’s crazy
Gotta love the general 🇺🇸🇬🇧
tyrone williams take the British flag outta here
Why a British flag lmao
@@andrewfreese5344 there is no confederate flag on here no more because of some bull shit
Do you know if they had different controllers for those? I just got a NIB and the controller doesn't look like that..Thanks
68s and 69s are the best chargers ever
I have one of those and the Ateam van and the knight rider car
ah, the Hitari brand RC cars? I used to have the Knight Rider car as well. I sold it. I should've kept it, but I'm sure I'll get another eventually
What size NiMH battery does the car take? Thank you :)
Could somebody please tell me the frequency of the car. I don't know how to take it apart to see
Cool video. I had one long time before someone stole It from me. I don't remember who I have been looking for one to replace with a new general Lee also the cop car I looked on Amazon they said it out of stock so I'm. Going to look again later on general Lee has been one of my favorite cars including. Knight rider viper tv series
how do you you put the dixe horn on it
this already has the horn on it :D
Do you still have the transmitter I need it for a 1/5 scale 1969 camaro
I don't anymore. I sold this so I could upgrade my hobbygraded General Lee. Sorry, man :(
It looks real
Cool, I got one a few weeks ago for $10, it’s the 1/10 scale and it doesn’t work, ordered a battery pack today to see if it will work
oh wow! Most people buy this just for the body (so you can use a hobbygrade chassis for the rest of it)
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs nah imma run down the original chassis till it dies then buy a hobby grade one, not to mention I need money for that😂, oh and the battery pack was to big but i cleaned out the original battery tray for the AA’s and it runs fine now
I'd love to buy this from you.
I appreciate the offer, but these are hard to get nowadays. Also getting it hobbygraded too so it can do some wicked things
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs oh okay. Yeah they are very difficult to get these cheap but thing I wanted to do is have one of these like my dad and put it on a traxxis chassis
@@tylerkutcher I see. They sell them on Ebay from time to time. There's actually one right now on auction (that ends in a few days). Go to Ebay, and type in "1/10 General Lee." Maybe you'll have look winning that one
Hello, I just got a general lee 1/10 rc that I got today, I actually paid $27 dollars for the same general lee, but came with no remote or battery, but I'm buying a high quality rc chassis for mine.
lmao loved the video bro
thanks, man :)
Hi. I'm not an RC guru but have unearthed one of these from a loft. Like the RC equivalent of a barn find! Seems to work except no torque. Can you just replace the motors?
possibly, but a lot of people love to fit a stretched Tamiya chassis (custom-parts used) so that you can do proper jumps with this :D
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogsabsolutely true!
I still have my general Lee, but it's broken. 😞
you can still salvage it :D
I’ll buy it
Anybody know where to get a new remote
I would try Ebay. But keep in mind there's 2 different remotes made for the 1/10 scale version. You have to check which version your r/c car needs
cool
thank you! I watched your Taiyo truck video. I made a similar one a few weeks ago called "Sears Lobo 4WD RC Truck or Big Bubba." I subscribed to your channel :) I'll be uploading a new RC video tomorrow
🖒
How much did you pay for that car? I just bout a non-working 1/18 scale and fixed it up for 75 dollars, and it came with a horn of the general lee and remote.
Really cool video! I have a few brand new 1 10th scale General Lee's i bought in 2005' if anyone is interested.
How much?
I'm interested
Bruh how much you want for it??
Nick Viola I’ll take one
Where can you get one
best place nowadays is to check Ebay
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs oh ok thank you
yea i have both ...few of them
saxy may the south raas agin
one of my favorite cars :D
Yeee haw
How fast is it
in stock form, it's super slow. But I have a modified version where it goes over 20mph. This is what the modified version looks like: ua-cam.com/video/q0lNV3kCP7A/v-deo.html
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs how do I upgrade my dukes car like yours I'm new to rc cars
@@countryboy_1976 alright, so this is a tough one (and expensive). Dudebro313 (who basically started this General Lee r/c craze) lists some build ideas here: generalleerc.com/
You'll break it!
nope, still in good order
I think that the stock general Lee rides too low
yeah, but the body is excellent for a hobbygrade conversion
Can i have your car
That’s what I did
Lol u should see what is done to mine. Runs about 40 mph. It's modified hobby grade
same, did you see mine? ua-cam.com/video/q0lNV3kCP7A/v-deo.html
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs lol I will now.
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs that's the same way mine is made oh man
@@w.e.s. here's another one: ua-cam.com/video/u1v5Pvf1MzA/v-deo.html
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs only difference is mine has the front mount that goes into the factory shafts so I don't have the black shafts sticking out the hood which let's me put a full scale brush guard on. And I've done busted the front by crashing it hard. I got that fixed though took me almost 2 days
Garbage. Why did they make it a gay looking low rider? This crap is an insult to Gneral Lee fans. Whoever designed this should be fired for incompetence
I feel that. But it's fixed now. Look at it here: ua-cam.com/video/A4pI7HvP4C8/v-deo.html
