I'm a firm believer that Blunder Policy has a hidden accuracy boost for when you want to intentionally miss low acc moves. The amount of Focus Miss I landed compared to not holdin it is astounding.
Yep. Zap cannon, dynamic punch and inferno all have guaranteed status on hit. It’s funny that people forget that the low accuracy is there to balance those effects.
Would love to live in a world where Gravity had an extender item and Wide Lens gave a bigger boost so people could make 100% Accuracy Zap Cannon builds.
I simply do not understand how you can hit 3 Zap Cannons in a row, but immediately miss Hustle Acrobatics once Gravity isn't up (per the Flapple vid). I'm too dumb to math correctly, but isn't it a lower chance to hit those cannons than the Acrobatics?? edit: @17:00 bro you KNOW I have to do this now

"The electric terrain would put me in a spot to grab a kill." Except you were Tera flying at the time. You need to be grounded to get the electric terrain boost. It may be worth considering a different Tera type.
Didn’t know if you weren’t grounded the Electric Terrain Electric type attacks 30% boost didn’t work, so can you make a non grounded Pokémon to fall asleep in Electric Terrain?
@@christakpan I believe so. The in-game description of the move in Scarlet and Violet is: "The user turns the ground into Electric Terrain for five turns, powering up Electric-type moves. Pokémon on the ground can no longer fall asleep." It's not something I've personally tested. My main team doesn't run Electric Terrain or have fliers.
i swear i've seen this strat being used in a past video by an opponent, err it might've been a sandy shocks actually but still! Awesome to see the idea being used by the GOAT,
Love your videos, they are so creative and entertaining. I love seeing generally irrelevant pokemon (usually my favorites) find themselves a strategy to their name. Please keep making videos like this, though it’d be nice if you start posting doubles as I am sure you could find a way to make some Pokemon relevant there.
I actually thought about doing this same strategy with a sun team with Typhlosion since it gets access to Inferno. Sun to boost damage, plus flash fire and Fire Tera with Blunder Policy Inferno. If it hits it's a massive amount of damage with a burn if it lives and if it's missed thats a +2 speed boost to make it even faster.
Omg! So this match up, Chien Pao vs Magnezone was very common for me when I was running Zone on my Sandstorm team! Tera rly does Zone a favor in these match ups. I hope you get a chance to melt something w Steel Beam cause it is another excellent addition. I dont even run Flash Cannon cause I feel if I need Steel coverage to delete something, Beam will do it before Cannon. Better neutral damage and I'd imagine much more monstrous w Analytics. I ran Magnet Pull Terra Blast: Ground to trap/ destroy other Steel types that threatened the Rock types on my Sandstorm team. Get wrecked, Corviknight! Shout Out, Thumbnail looks dope as always! With night slash and leaf blade (great STAB) amlost guaranteeing to get a crit, outspeeding everything, or using X scissor or low kick for great coverage. So unfortunate shiftry dosent get acrobatics because that would be great for this set :(.
Been using Sing Skeledirge with the Blunder Policy. Earth Power, Shadow Ball, and Torch Song for coverage. Also use a set with Fire Blast, Earth Power, Shadow Ball, and Torch Song. Fire Blast doesn't reliably miss though so it's not as effective.
You know you should reallyyy try Infernape, it’s kinda slept on and I can see why w Empoleon and Torterra’s buffs. But w this move I think it can keep up w them. It’s literally Slack Off. According to my limited knowledge the electric terrain wasnt boosting your electric moves when you terra into flying, because all terrain only affects the grounded pokemon.
I personally love using final gambit for a surprise ohko. Aint terrain effects only affecting mons touching the ground? tera flying kinda removed the boost from magnezone there if it still works like that.
I haven’t played Pokémon in a while but maybe the rain or the electric terrain had something to do with all the zap cannons landing.

Magnezone actually loses electric terrain damage buff when it's tera flying
Does the Flying Tera stop Electric Terrain from affecting Magnezone? Or does Tera not count as "Flying" Type? I'm assuming it does but I'm not actually sure.
Does Zap cannon get the accuracy boost like thunder when it’s raining?
Actually Magazne is not rarely used competitively. Because there are no bad Pokémon with high base stats.
I recently tried using an eviolite Magneton set with tera flying. It didn't go so well
What was wrong with it?
