Oh and You know it's hilarious that in UU, the first question that comes in mind when a mon drops/rises to UU is "Can it survive Lokix?"

It does work, if the user is faster. Sucker Punch and Thunderclap both move first if their user is attacking a foe, that is also attacking, so the faster move fired first. He won the interaction off speed, not because Thunderclap always fails VS Sucker Punch.
Lokix is such an anti-meta pokemon that people need to be prepared for it. The whole design screams anti-setup and revenge killing, and First Impression with Tinted Lens is busted, cuz Bug is usually one of the worst offensive typings in the game, but Tinted Lens is a middle finger to that. You'd need to Quad resist bug to be able to stop it, and then also resist dark if you can. Fighting and Fairy are the only types that resist both bug and Dark, and no other type combos can resist Lokix dual stab without those types included. But there's only 1 fairy-fighting type: Iron Valiant. So aside from that 1 mon, you can't quad resist both STABs, and you prioritise bug cuz First Impression. So Steel, Bug, fire, poison. (yes, I told you it's bad, especially when you add Fighting and Fairy). Fighting-Fire types are definitely a thing, just gen 3 through 5 fire starters. Any of these, (Blaziken, Infernape, Emboar) can easily stop Lokix, but they can't prevent it from running away, but in the case of Blaziken, that's fine. Speed Boost Swords Dance with dual stab without recoil, so probably Sky Uppercut or Close Combat with Blaze Kick is enough to poke holes in teams in return. Emboar can also setup with Flame Charge and has the bulk to take anything Lokix and others throw at it. Infernape simply relies heavily on prediction and coverage. Steel types are usually on the slow end, but they're numerous, but when combined with fighting or fairy, you're looking at Cobalion, Lucario and Klefki. Klefki is a notable one: its prankster means it can easily T-wave Lokix after a First Impression, and Lokix will likely run like hell from it, allowing it to T-wave something else or set up spikes to punish switches, which Lokix thrives on. Stealth Rock is also essential. With Spikes and Stealth Rocks, Lokix won't last long without heavy-duty-boots, but then you're not using a Choice band or Silver powder, which are common. Amongst bug types, other Lokix are of course a threat, but so is Scizor. There's also that other one, Wings something, the fire-bug type that is a variant on Volcarona , which uses First Impression too and has fire coverage. Regular Volcarona is also an option, after a Quiver Dance. Forretress also doesn't give two shits about Lokix, though a gyro ball won't kill it, but like Klefki, it's got spikes and also stealth rock to boot, and can spin the hazards that Lokix loves from teammates. And amongst poison types, there's Fezandipity and Okidogi. Okidogi in particular is a nuisance to Lokix, though it hates Knock Off, so it's not the best check. And Fezandipity just... attacks or Roosts. Finally, fairy types. I mentioned Klefki, and Tinkaton is also a thing, but not as great at countering Lokix and its strat specifically. Iron Valiant obviously destroys it, but beyond that, there's little. TLDR: best counters are Klefki, Foretress, or, with a free switch, Blaziken or Emboar, when looking at type. Moves that are useful are stealth rock and spikes, as well as T-wave and a move that can trap, such as Block or Sand Tomb. To revenge kill Lokix, Dugtrio is evil. It's faster, has Arena Trap, and has access to rock coverage like Rock Slide or Stone Edge. You'll need to let it get a turn, and then First Impression is out, at which point, Dugtrio just murders it. Probably go for Rock Slide to get the accuracy over Stone Edge. Or Rock Blast with the loaded dice, if that's your thing, but probably best to give Dugtrio a Choice Band. I hope that helps.
