- It's been awhile but I'm back with a new episode. I finally got around to doing this video to show my PS3 collection. I hope you guys enjoy!

I started out in january and have managed to get over 400 plus games. Some of the games have really started to explode in price lately which is since now we are close to the 20 year nostalgia bubble and with 360 shutdown store also effecting certain ps3 game prices. it is only a matter of time until it becomes too expensive.
Still aside from a few most are still below 100 and large 2/3 are still below 50 so if u wanna grab them while still cheap, now is the time to do so.
Wow 😳 that's a crazy amount of games you have there! I agree, I'm sure they'll be going up in price especially with the 360 store now closed. I have many more games I'm interested in getting for the PS3 but not in a rush. Plus it's also hard for me since I'm collecting for other consoles too. I just got back a GameCube so I'm collecting for that as well which of course is more pricey than than the PS3

Definitely!! I agree and I'm actually on the PS3 now, recording some footage to upload in a few on here and we definitely should play sometime. I want to start playing GTA 4 again and I need to get a few more online games like Black Ops 2!

Awesome video. I collect ps3 also. If you are looking for a good game. (My opinion) try The club. Also I really recommend jailbreaking your ps3 with hen. If you are into that kinda stuff. Helps with preserving the laser on the ps3. Also you can backup your physical collection.👍

Lol the ps3 I had before I had modded it with hen but I decided I didn't want it anymore. I know it's go to preserve the laser, I've heard of that and backing up my collection but I will be fine without but thank you for the suggestion! ☺☺
PS3 collecting is affordable.... for now lol. It will catch up to ps2 and gamecube soon.
Lol I hope not anytime soon but it will catch up to them. There are many PS2 games that aren't that expensive though! Well at least the ones I want and Gamecube smh forget about it with that console. I wanna collect for it but that will really hurt me financially haha

I forgot that I have Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkachi coming in the mail today, I was going to wait on it and then do this video but I felt like doing this today. lol
Hello from France, I started my collection of PS3 games a few months ago. I benefit from the fact that the prices are still affordable but the games are becoming expensive for some. there are really a lot of good games. Looking back, it's my favorite console.

Yeah, it's a very great console and very great games on it too that I'm still getting. Ones I've never had before and others I have had on the Xbox 360 back then. The games honestly are not too much from what I've seen over here the USA on eBay but still better to get them now before it gets even more expensive 🙏🏽
I choose 360 over ps3 because almost every thing got a ps4 , ps5 remake or a better running version on 360 . I miss resistance fall of man
We are both alike with that, I chose 360 as well. It was great back then but after getting a PS3 now, I'm kinda enjoying it more lol but I do agree 💯 and I've never played Resistance but I know of it.

dude did you sell your switch bro i keep both off them man you wont be able too play mario odessy and zelda breath of the wild 2 you missed out .or did you rebuy the switch and only did that video for views . i want too rebuy the ps3 and slim or super slim because my phat model died in 2016 and your missing out on super mario rpg remake the new peach game and you can buy all the pikmin games 1 2 3 4 . i just got 1 2 3 now i need 4 for my collection on switch also i would love the ps3 only rachet and clank on the ps3 versions but i emulate them on the pc for my lets play channel witch is this one .
I sold my switch a long time ago and I didn't buy it back, I was considering it but not sure and which video you are talking about I did for views because I'm not one of these typical youtubers here that do that stuff or click bait. I have a ps3 slim aswell They are very reliable Never broke on me i heard the original old fat ps3 is prone to overheating issues known as yellow light of death.
I never knew about that with the original model but I kinda had a feeling since the first models of PlayStations are usually prone to issues like the fat PS2 as well. That's good you have the slim too, I love it! The super slim is cool too but I rather this version, it feels more sturdy and not cheap lol

It really is! I have overlooked it for years back then especially when I was a Xbox 360 guy but now I love it and wow, you've been collecting for it for a long time now, that's good! And thanks man, I appreciate it.
Still have my ps3 slim (with hen installed) and play it regularly, i have about 200 physical games for it and a bunch of digital games, love the console, although i have a ps5 lately i play more on ps3
Edit: currently playing trough dark souls 2 with the servers going down this March 31 on ps3
That's awesome and that's the one I originally had with hen installed but I like this version more and I didn't want it modded anymore but it is great to have modded though and you play it more than ps5? That's interesting, I would have done the same lol
That sucks about the servers on dark souls 2 and I never knew they were still up. I'm wondering if the servers are still up for gta 4, call of duty, and wwe games on ps3. I hope they are 🙏
@@jowellgamingshow6907 for going online, the call of duty games and gta 4 your are going to be your best chance to find people, maybe some fighting games, I remember some people still being online on DBZ xenoverse, like maybe a year ago, I am mostly a single player story oriented player although I do play multiplayer from time to time, I've played gta v for a while on ps3, like something over a year ago because the servers on ps3 where going down
3 years ago was the time to collect for the PS3. The games were priced 1/3 of what you paid for them. Now it's time to collect for the PS4.
They're still cheap now though lol maybe a little cheaper back then yes but still cheap for me at least. Well, PS4 is still my current console and I have plenty of games for that already so technically I've been "collecting" for it for years now.
@@jowellgamingshow6907 I was getting PS3 games for about 5 bucks a piece. 15-20 dollars is tripling that amount. I was able to get the rarer games for that price. I paid 20 dollars for Lollipop Chainsaw then, but it's about 80-100 dollars now. Most PS4 games are cheap, it's a better time to snatch them up now then pay more for them later.

I dig collecting games, but I more collect roms and isos. Whats the appeal of the physical product?
because collecting physical copies is the actual collecting aspect of it its fun and its cool to look at sometimes but i only collect my favorite game series and consoles

Also to add on to that it's not only fun but it's my passion and nostalgia to have these games back in my possession after many years of not having them since all of them I sold back then so yeah, like you said I only collect the games that I have had that are good and a few that I have always wanted. I rarely go out my way to get random games just cause it's cheap without knowing if it sucks lol
Having many roms and isos are okay too because I have many on my PS Classic but I rather having them physically over digitally, I'm also not a big fan of emulation but I use it for certain games that I am not certain if they're good and very expensive games I cannot afford.

Can you play All ps2 games for ps3 fat or jst some games?
I wouldn't know that because that's not the model I have. I just play my PS2 and PS1 games on my PS2
Only early versions. The fats with the flip cover does with original PS2 hardware. Then later ones only by emulation. Then the even later ones wouldn't even play PS2 games. I recommend getting a modded PS2 that plays all PS1 and PS2 games and region unlocked. It has problems playing E.U games because of the 50 Hz 60 Hz differences. But it plays Japanese games fine.
