    Your presentations are well thought out and very clearly presented. And ambient noise or any background music is just that.... background!!! Excellent.

      @@TerryErasmusbonsai Well I think it has been four weeks!
      I hope you had a nice Christmas relaxing, to be honest this is a very quiet time of year where I live as we are in the coldest and shortest days!
      I have scaled down my collection and only manage around 20 trees nowadays but, most have been with me for forty years!
      I do enjoy your videos and I consider you in my top few Bonsai youtube experts, some others have a larger subscription but are not even close to your confident content.
      All the best Martyn from Guernsey, Channel Islands.

      Thanks so much Marcus! My website is the best place to look www.bonsaitree.co.za At the moment there isn’t anything of mine but there are various imported trees available. Hope to add a lot more shortly, just waiting for the trees to be released by DAFF.

    Hello again Terry, off topic, what are your thoughts on the Akadama available from your country,, it's called Sakadama fired local clay, as it has become available here in Australia,, or is your preference the normal sun dried Akadama? Thanks.

    • @TerryErasmusbonsai
      @TerryErasmusbonsai  Рік тому

      Hi Wayne. I must be careful how I answer this question as I don’t want to be rude or unprofessional. It’s not a product I’ve given any thought to using as I have access to the original. I understand the product is fired so I’m not entirely sure what the difference between it is and LECA. Also I think seeing Sakadama as a substitute for Japanese akadama displays ignorance on the part of the user with regards to the unique qualities of akadama and why it’s such a incomparable and unique product. Try it yourself and reach your own conclusion though, that’s the best.

      No. It’s a myrtus communis. Crepe myrtle is a Lagerstroemia indica.
