The Fails I have done have been 100%on me, not following the pattern effectively or the final result not to my taste or personal style. This is just me going through my works and learning more about my making journey ***

Hi Alice. I didn’t realize that you had just started knitting sweaters last year. You did a great job.
I have done a couple sweaters over the years,but mainly for kids. I used to do little intarsia, on straight needles.when k got backing serious knitting, I started small and worked up to my sweaters and colourwork.
Brioche is fun. You definitely should try it this year.
Well its on the list for sure, Think I'll start with some Brioche Mug Rugs LOL, wish me luck
Everafter!!! One of my favorite movies!!! I have to watch it every year!!! I am a very beginning knitter... I made an imperfect dishcloth, I am just fine with it being imperfect... I am knitting a sock, I am 7 rows in on the cuff... I will see how I do on the sock, I'm guessing if I tried the 2nd sock, they won't match... I know it's a process! I loved all of your beautiful items!!! Yes... definitely put the eyes on the cute balloon dog!!! Your toys and dolls are soooo cute!!!

Hi Alice, a very enjoyable episode. We all have things that go wrong sometimes and we should talk about and why we found it was not for us. Often a fit/style issue or a pattern and yarn mismatch. We live and learn.

Loved this podcast…so cool to see your favourites and why your fails failed!! I keep thinking I want to make the Ranunculus, I have some gorgeous hand dyed yarn …just not sure about the mohair.
Im not sure why my first reply didn't post. I"ll try this again,... Yes you need to try one, they can be totally modified in so many ways. I only did the large one with the fluff because I didn't want the roving to be splitty.
It was because of you and your project that I have the yarn and pattern ready to go for the Shima sweater. Too bad you frogged yours. I will try to follow the pattern exactly.
Yes, Beatrice is an amazing designer, I will be remaking her Shima forsure. I will be following the pattern for my size! Thanks for coming for a visit ♥ xx
