@@Menstral I think their argument is old women vs old men in Hollywood, not old women vs young women. Old men can star in films until their 80s and have a young love interest, whereas older women not so much. I’m not fighting their cause here, I just wanted to clarify their stance.
2:15 To be fair, I think todays older actresses are doing better than the stars from the eras long ago. I mean, someone in the age of CZJ would be already long forgotten in the golden age of Hollywood. But actresses are always having some problems with age, because a lot of actresses cant really act. They are coasting on their looks when they are young and are selling T+A. But real actresses are rare.
CZJ was a physical specimen in her prime. I loved the deep voice too. I think after 2004 or so she concentrated on having a family with Michael Douglas and just took small projects that could accommodate her personal life. Now she’s aged out. Wasn’t she having some mental problems too like bipolar disorder or something?
2:04 I had seen her first in a movie called "Sheherazade" on german TV. It is forever burned in my memory because obviously german TV didnt controlled it first...they broadcasted it on childrens Television back in the days. The first Striptease I have ever seen in my life....
CZJ has always had a high glamour image, which can morph into certain roles as one matures. For example, Angelina Jolie and Italian actress Monica Bellocchi have done this. It's not simply being beautiful or youthful, but roles with mystique. Cameron Diaz image was not the type that one can age with, but she has a likeable personality that she can work the influencer schtick like Jennifer Garner. Obviously highly talented actresses like Meryl Street, Glen Close, Helen Mirren are in a different category in terms of talent. I've always liked Julianne Moore and she is still appearing in projects in her mid-60's. She was a bit older when she became popular (in her mi-30's). Jessica Chastain is 46 and still in top projects. I do like red hair!.
This video is very offensive. CZJ is not just the beauty from the 90s. She is definitely talented. Her performance in Chicago is iconic. Not so many other actresses could have portrayed Velma Kelly the way she did. Plus she won the Tony Award on Broadway that’s why she took a break from movies in 2009-2010. And after that her husband got cancer and she took care of him. Lately she was on Feud, Prodigal Son and Wednesday. For the later she received great reviews. So you’re free to say you don’t like her but you definitely can’t say she is unimpressive. Maybe you’re talking about your own work as a fail youtuber ?
How many rainbow flags do you have? Is Greg being homophobic xenophobic, transphobic and exhibiting micro aggressions when he gives his opinion? Do you need your " safe space" ?
@@robertmiller5789 I definitely don’t need « Safe Space » but you really need to learn values like kindness, respect … The guy who made this video really doesn’t know what he is talking about. He spreads lies based on his misconceptions.
Actresses that have range often end up getting roles later in life. Its always the ones that had limited range and relied a lot on their looks that end up complaining the loudest. Sorry, CZJ, you were great in Chicago, but you sucked in Wednesday. You can still get roles, just dont expect blockbusters.
CZJ reminds me of Kimberly Guilfoyle. Apparently, Don Jr put Kimberly out to pasture just like CZJ has been 😂 At least Kimberly is a solid conservative, unlike CZJ. Both have that plastic surgery joker look 😂

If the only talent you have is being hot, you should be thankful for whatever you get then gracefully accept that your time has passed.
Hollywood is not cruel to women. Do people say that sports are cruel to men? Everybody has their time in the Sun, and then the sun sets

@@martinzissou11It depends on the roles. More than likely, the older women don't like the roles that are now available to them.
Yup. Happens to hot men as well. This guy's a bitter loser
she will NEVER be an A-lister again

Yeah. I think CZJ was a good actress, but not a lot of range. She relied heavily on her looks.
She hit the wall face first
She is lying about her age. She's in her 60s. Also she left acting to be with Michael Douglas so she has nothing to complain about.
saying that "she has nothing to SHOW anymore" sounds more appropriate .

Yes, she has a maniac depressive condition.
You didn't mention her cluster B mental issues, most in Hollywood simply won't deal with that past your peak beauty.
Great Actresses keep roles, pretty actresses only last as long as their looks
Jessica Chantain is starting to hit the wall.
She's coping and projecting at the same time.
When Catherine Zeta-Jones (Hollywood) herself enters the public domain in the 22nd century.

She is doing a movie with Jenna Ortega, Daniel Brühl and Natalie Portman now. Not big but hey, they are still on demand.

She did quite well in Chicago. I got to see Chicago live done by 4 people. Someone did her role live. Does become less impressive by comparison.

You conveniently forgot to mention that she was the person gave Michael Douglas throat cancer!
@ Simply untrue. His cancer was caused by years of heavy drinking.
@@axeluscubitus Nope it was throat cancer caused by oral. Michael spoke about it.

Linda Carter (Wonder Woman) was in Fallout 4
I thought she retired to take care of her sick (throat cancer) husband.
Doubt that.
Greg!!! Help! I'm back on the plantation! Why did you abandon us?? It's all your fault! 😅

Oh thats a terrible picture of her. Not flattering at all.
She’s trying to sound very happy but I’m sure she’s crying regularly lol
Lol, why is that funny Lol?
Well, she had mental issues. But I cant believe that those overpayed people are realy unhappy. They are laughing on the way to the bank.
I mean she's still really RICH so she can get over it
