No matter what I do even when I follow all instructions perfectly and use your exact setup and exact time of day and weather and I can’t even get it to bite once.

I caught it now and I realized two things. Have a reel that has a max drag above 12 Lb. Don’t do it with a reel with less or you will break your reel. And number two only hook #1 octopus hook works

Got it with omni float 450 (5 level rod) and espira mlr 2000 ( 18 level) only took 1 minute of fight 🤷🏻‍♂️
