Question: our clinic has been using a 2 serovar vax. If we switch to a 4 serovar vax, do we have to booster in 3 weeks? Then yearly?

Yes, similar but to me, it's always warranted to do 4 serovar now for more coverage.

VETgirl, LLC My question was, if a dog has been getting the 2 serovar version of the vaccine and we switch to a 4 serovar vax, do we need to booster with the 4 serovar vax 3 weeks later to ensure coverage for the 2!serovars that were previously not vaccinated for? Or would it be ok to just switch to the 4 serovar vax with the yearly and no booster 3 weeks later?
