- Apparently my most popular video on this channel is the fastest thor build order, so I figured I should upload a more general build order that can be used on pretty much every land map!

Do you ever save the dwarven mine for later like when gold starve would be an issue?
Nah, I really don't like doing it! Sometimes it can be useful I suppose, but it entails a defensive playstyle which I tend to shy away from

You get a better early game by using dawrven mine. Thor's problem usually is to hunt, which was one my mistakes to allow Suppe to hunt here.

I used to love thor back when aom and titans expansion was brand new. By far my favorite god. Sucks to see how weak he is now that everyone has figured out the true power of every other god. I wish thor got like an extra bonus armory upgrade that comes along side copper upgrades. Like some kind of "blessed materials" gives a small % to attack, hack, and pierce armor with one upgrade. But obviously it would be less of an increase than all 3 copper upgrades otherwise it would probably be too over powered early game. Its cost would be like only favor but a decent amount like 25+. This would make for a very aggressive thor, which i think could be pretty fun
Thor is actually not weak right now! In the most recent Voobly patch he got a +50% research speed on armory upgrades. Check out my recent video where I highlight the power of Thor :)
That said, I also like that idea you give!
@HUSKSUPPE i actually did happen to see that. I was just worried that people thought the increased research time was too OP and it would get nerfed or taken out haha. Idk why i care or im coming up with ideas tho. I dont even have a pc to play after mine melted hahah i "play" by watching you pros in your tg and tournaments. Also if i got a pc idk if i would do voobly or just throw my og titans disk in and play that version

Great BO, thanks for sharing. I like the 4 min advance; gives you the chance to be hyper aggressive. Could you make a video with a build order for a 4 min odin advance? I normally do a 4:30ish and find sometimes it to not be fast enough.

Sick bo suppe wonder if u can fit in 2nd ulf for aggression vs the forward zeus vills or not worth it. Odin better though when playing aggro thor requires mid-game power spikes. OMG imagine forrest fire 5:35
Yes, I like to add a 2nd Ulf after the 4 vills on starting hunt! I did that vs kimo on Arabia in tourney game

Unfortunatly this build is less good on ee. Dwarven gm only got 500g so a bit of ineffeciency. Miners go on the base gold mine at 15 sec of advance time :/
i think 4:12 is better with thor on ee. Just build a 3rd ox just before advancing

So I'm actually trying to learn how to main Zeus and find this very interesting. What could the Zeus player have done to prevent resigning here? If he walls himself in and goes heroic+uw passage, you will most likely be in heroic aswell and Zeus can't fight norse in heroic... So instead of the Zeus player engaging in combat, maybe leave tox in base with upgraded towers and send some hoplite to harass vills and houses? What's the play here to prevent this?
I think Zeus should go double mino vs Thor/Odin and snipe hersirs with odysseus! That's extremely difficult for norse to deal with
