    I love when you said "if you don't want to touch raw meat, wear a glove" it may sound simple & silly, but I think those are great tips. A new cook may have not thought of doing that.

    Noreen...some say that you may be the best cook on youtube.... I say you definitely are...every thing you do I absolutely love...and this wedding soup is tops!!! And I also love that you have your little doggies in the videos when you cook, because my little ones are always underfoot when I am cooking, and I always throw them little treats. I know this is an older video, but I have watched many of your videos and I think you are so wonderful...everything about your videos is very wonderful. Keep it up. Hi! I'm on the search for a great new soup and this might be the one! Our family has a huge soup lunch for our Christmas get together. Everyone brings a big pot of soup and bread. We end up with about 8 different soups. It's so much fun and has become a tradition we really look forward to. I love to find a new soup to make every year. My question is, how is this soup the next day? Thanks! I just found you, but I love your style and I look forward to checking out more of your content.

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  5 років тому +1

      If you are making this to serve I recommend making it fresh. If you must make it in advance, I recommend not adding the pasta until the day you are going to serve it. I also do not recommend making this any more than two days in advance. When this sits in the fridge the pasta sucks up all the liquid. So you might want to take that into consideration.

    @clarissamck
    i was thinking the same thing. i would probably leave out the pasts and add it on reheating. but other than that, i'd can it at the pressure for my elevation and the time for the ingredient with the longest processing time, in this case, the meatballs. it's not technically an 'approved recipe', but as long as you don't use any ingredients that aren't recommended for canning, and use adequate time and pressure, i figure it's fine.

    I wonder if this is can-able? Minus the pasta. How would the meatballs hold up in the canning process?

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  9 років тому

      Pennys Homestead Not with the pasta. Canning this is possible without the pasta. You would need to add that when you heat it up and it won't be the same.

    Very talented lady, I've watched 2, maybe 3 vids, each time the chatter moves from the dish at hand to ranting about diff things. This one, right around the diaper meat thingy was the final straw for me. Cooking is a fun and pleasant thing.....

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  7 років тому +3

      William Robarts Ok so? I am trying to help educate people about the realities of what they are eating and how they can be potentially harmful if they're not careful about which kinds of foods they choose. This includes the packaging like that meat diaper which can actually be a problem. You never have to feel obligated to stick around and watch or listen! No worries on my end! This is how I roll if you don't like it I'm sure there's 1000 other channels that you might enjoy more! Thanks for coming by hope you come back again if you don't that's OK too

  • @kimt2au
    @kimt2au 7 років тому +2

    If you purchase your meat from a butcher you do not get either the foam plate or the diaper.

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  7 років тому

      kimt2au most people do not have a butcher. Most people buy from the grocery store. A butcher is a very rare thing to find anymore unless you live in a metropolitan area where people with money live.

    • @kimt2au
      @kimt2au 7 років тому

      Really? WOW, I cannot imagine a town without a butcher. Here in Australia, if you live in a city you will find that the meat in the supermarkets tends to be more expensive than the meat in the butchers. People go to the supermarket for the convenience of pre-packaged meat.

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  7 років тому

      kimt2au here butchers are specialty stores. You can buy meat in any market but it is not all high quality. For instance I never buy meat at Walmart because the do not have a butchery in their stores. They receive prepackaged meat and place it out for sale. I have two local grocers who have real butcher departments and will cut meat to order at a reasonable price. So that is where we like to buy meat. Also at the commissary on the military base. They have staff butchers and great meat.

      I answer plenty of comments. If I have addressed a comment once, or in many cases, multiple times or if the answer is evident from the video or the recipe link then I don't often answer every single comment. I have almost 150k subs and nearly 2000 videos. Sometimes it can be difficult for me to address every single comment. Since I do not see that you have asked a question about the recipe, I hope that satisfies your curiosity.
