    Really appreciate this tutorial.
I wish we had a standard way to say "pinky D6" (meaning Pinky finger on the D string at the 6th fret). That seems so much easier for my brain to digest than "pinky on the 6th fret of the 4th string". Which finger, which string, what fret !!!
Signed, eternally grateful for the internet, UA-cam, and musicians like you who take the time to teach these awesome and important tidbits.
    Cheers, Steve

So the advanced version is just a simple barre chord (albeit with the b string muted). Thanks.

Cool. I love the dim sound.
Hey I grabbed that guitar like yours. It was too great of a deal to pass up!

patdavidmusic. I got it the other day. I posted some pics on my Google Plus.
I yanked those awful 10's & put 9's on it & did a full setup. Now it plays like a dream. Man it's got a very thin neck!

      So glad you like it!
I completely agree, the 9's were the worst, not my cup of tea, the only issue you may have is the volume pot connection sadly still common issues in the KM series guitars

      +patdavidmusic I love 9's but can't stand 10's!
Anyway, I've not experienced a problem with the volume pot. What's been happening with them?

They are just known to give out, get scratchy and fall apart, a common problem, but cheap to fix

Easiest by far is playing g# on the low E string, mute the A string with the same finger, play the B on the G string and a D on the B string. You can strum it as you’re playing an open D so you don’t even need to play D on the B string. There’s no doubt this is the easiest way to do this chord.
