Hey everyone, this is Jeff (Rob's Videographer). I am with him now in Hospice. He just passed at 21:45 on 08/25/2024. I will be sure to preserve the channel. He will be missed and we will never forget him! ♥️
Man this is exactly why I'm here. The ending hit me like a ton of bricks. I had absolutely no idea how much Rabbit meant to me and finding out about his passing is really affecting me in ways I cannot understand. I loved every second of Tex Mex motors and now I know why. RIP man 😭
I have never heard of Rob "Rabbit" Pitts until today. For some reason, UA-cam felt I needed to see this. As a medical practitioner, it hit hard when the words "Always ask questions. Always get answers" came across the screen. Listen to your body and always seek answers. "For I know not who you are, but forever, you have changed who I am." ~ Unknown RIP Mr. Pitts.
I have pissed off several doctors over the years because of my reluctance to just take the meds and move on. I appreciate your acknowledgement of his words very much. I have absolutely no idea who Rob pitts is or was and like the dr, this just came across my feed. For what reason I do not know. Even though this is the first time I’m hearing about you It is still a punch to the gut to learn of your passing. Rest in peace Sir.
Stomach cancer is so sneaky, its not fair. My uncle had pains, was flown into the city hospital after the one up north found a mass. He was taken into surgery and never woke up. No warning, no chance to say goodbye. He was "healthy as a horse" cutting wood, plowing roads etc. I beg everyone who watches this mans video to see a Dr regularly! A once a year checkup is SO important. Men are so resistant to this for some reason and you all deserve to live long healthy lives, and your yearly checkup is a big part of making that happen. ❤❤❤
A yearly checkup at the normal doctor's isn't going to catch much at all. This guy went to the hospital several times before finding anything. The only real preventative is yearly baseline FULL blood work including cancer marker tests (easier to go to a private lab and pay a few hundred bucks than going to your normal doctor who likes to order one blood test at a time to milk insurance. Not to mention if you tell your doc why you're doing this they'll think your nuts and probably write your a hypochondriac on your chart). Then if you can afford it and want to be sure, get full organ scans done with an MRI every two years. Call around and ask for cash prices and you'll be surprised how affordable some things can be. What they charge insurance $3,500 for can be had for under $1k a lot of times. A grand over 2 years is like $40 a month.
Life is about being a good person,,Having no ego,,Rebuking satan in all its forms,,Putting our lord and saviour Jesus Christ first,,Above everything and everyone,,,even your spouse and children,,,Believe in him with all your heart and soul,,Denounce usury and materialism in all its forms,,,And remember,,The only way to the father is through the son,,,Do these things ,And you will be one with him in paradise for eternity ,,
I don’t think he understands how many grown ass men are sitting in their living room, watching this on their phone, bawling their eyes out… Rob was a real one…
Right here man. Rob was one of those people that could just grab you and make you pay attention. A true car salesman in the best sense of it. Maybe in the worse sense of it too haha
Hi, I'm absolutely devastated, been a huge fan of Rabbit since Texmex, I'm a 65 Yr old dad of 7, grandad to 26 and a great grandad to 2, I'm gutted, bitterly upset at the news of your passing, God bless you my friend, sending lots of love to your beautiful wife, family, friends and millions of fans all over the world. Rest in Peace. Much love from Wales xx ❤❤💐💐🙏🙏👏👏❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
I've been recommended like 3 people's post-mortem videos in the past week or two. Never heard of any of the people before, but it still really pulls at your heart :(
STONE COLD:..RABBIT WAS A REAL ONE:.....11,341 Comments......This Is Goodbye. (RIP 7/27/79 - 8/25/24)......3 days of views..... 2,729,265 views. perfectly described Rabbit's voice as "honey poured over gravel".
No idea who this is, Never watched a car video in my life, but this notification popped up, and I clicked on it, curious. I can really tell how much of a legacy he’s left behind. How good of a man he is. I teared up for a man I never knew. You’re awesome, Mr. Pitts.
I lost my father to stomach cancer 20 years ago when I was 21. It's notorious for looking like other ailments until it's too late. He passed away 2 weeks after his diagnosis, the chemotherapy had the exact opposite effect of healing his body. I'll never forget the encologist sitting us in a room and describing the cancer as "a monster" that had spread throughout his body. Scary stuff, my mom ran out of the room hysterical. Maybe not the best term to use by the doctor (still hurts remembering those word), but I guess it is what it is. I'm thankful I was able to be there until the end, because I got the chance to tell him what he meant to me, I got to say goodbye. Not everyone gets to do that. RIP to the both of you - hoping you guys are both up there and talking cars ❤
Me and my wife both we crying our eyes out on the phone talking about this. It’s wild the profound impact a complete stranger can have on people’s lives
I am a pastor in rural central Michigan, crying in my office….. While Rabbit has ZERO idea of who I am, UA-cam, the Internet and VinWiki made me feel as if Rabbit was a good friend. His story telling has inspired my preaching and I have even used a story or two of his in a sermon here and there. Praying the Peace of the Lord be upon all his family, friends and fans!!
I am deeply moved by this, this is my exact story!! I searched for 9 months of doctor appointments until I finally went to the ER and was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer....I have had all the treatments and 2 years ago my remission came back. I am stage 4 incurable I am now living until I die...I love this message. ❤ RIP fellow traveller condolences to friends and family.
Grieve, Love big, pray hard, put down phones and memorize faces, sing as loud as you can and hit the notes your voice was never meant to hit, annoy your family member a little extra for a laugh, cry a lot but make the tears happy as much sad and bittersweet, kiss slowly and hug even slower and very tight, go get your feet on the fresh earth, look up at night and truly wish on a star, take in the smells of coffee and cakes just to enjoy the scent in a way you never have before, look at how beautiful this earth is and take it in on a deeper sense, but Also grieve ! Not only grieve but bawl your eyes out for the loss of time for you and your family and friends. Don’t be afraid to cry in front of them because it will let them know it’s ok to cry with you and then you can grieve together so you don’t worry about how they will be when you aren’t there because you will have already moved on together in your separate ways comfortable from all the love you shown in those final days till you meet again ! Let all the anger and grief flow through everyone with you together for the time that was taken from you too soon and how unfair it is, now you can move on to being able to openly give and receive the best and purest love you’ve ever know. To say all the words you were so unsure of, to let people know you forgive them and they can forgive you too, and now Love! Love purely and with emotion showing through your eyes and theirs till their soul shines through! so they know how you feel and most importantly look straight in their eyes as you say I love you but don’t focus on trying to capture it all on a phone.. keep those very special moments close to your heart and so will the people around you.. a bucket list doesn’t have to be grand adventures nor really should it I think. ..but simply taking the time to enjoy what you may have looked over, love harder than you ever thought you could, and finally feel free knowing you are leaving a legacy of love behind that many people would kill for from a loved one. When the time comes and it will for you part ways for a while they will feel how you’re content and you will know you loved them more in this short time that most get in a life time and they will get through it yet they will never forget those wonderful last times spent with you. ❤
@@Waysa88this was beautiful! I read it to my daughter....and several times I choked back tears and my voice wobbled....solid stuff. I have been being very intentional since my diagnosis....we build memories. They're so very precious. Thank you for sharing it. Much Love ❤
@@deanas7063 of course. I guess I’ve lost most of the family I grew up with and also work in healthcare dealing in death a lot so I’ve spent a insurmountable amount of time the past 15 years thinking on how I would handle the news or at least hope to after seeing death far to often around me and this is what I’ve seen that really seems to bring peace to everyone and matters. I have a heart condition that without Gods miracle I won’t live a very lengthy life but I intend to make the years I do have count now. I am so thankful I was able to help in some small form to make you life here even slightly better than the moment before. I wish you nothing but happiness, health, and most of all love till you get your wings ❤️
I have never heard of Rob "Rabbit" Pitts until today. For some reason, UA-cam felt I needed to see this. This is a reminder for all of us to maintain our humanity. Much Love and Blessings to Rob and everyone who knows/loves him. ❤
Same here. It was on my home page and I felt the need to watch it. I’m sorry to hear of his passing and I hope his loved ones and fans cherish every memory.
I thought i was good at sales....until i listened to you tell your stories of epic numbers but the best part about it is it was your passion for learning about people that allowed you to sell to them...we all want to buy from a good sales person, a genuine human being...and that is what you are....RIP buddy! I'm going to miss all the videos of you telling your stories!!
When you said the 90s trucks were about to shoot up in value I bought seven of them in different conditions I got in the garage fix them up when the market finally hit like you said it would I sold everyone of them and fulfilled the dream I had of buying my mom a brand new Cadillac and it’s all because of you Brother 🙏🏼🥺❤️
This is true, and still, reading the comments it seems that this video has brought a lot of us to share stories, and send good messages to one another. One of the few times I'm glad the algorithm showed me something that was nothing to do with me, and all to do with us all.
This hit hard. Sitting here with my husband who is in final stages of cancer. He opted to stop all treatment so we can have some time to love one another without appointments and treatments and him being too sick to even eat hanging over our heads. They have chased his cancer for years, never finding it. He's atypical. But, in weeks or months - we pray for much longer, I will be a widow. No one else knows your body like you do. Pay attention.
I can’t even begin to imagine.. I’m happy for you that you get to say goodbye and make precious memories ❤ there are some life books, where an individual fills in the blanks and tells parts of their life, perhaps you’d both find comfort and joy in filling it out and knowing his stories can still be shared after he has passed. Lots of love ❤
I don't know who you are. But I came across your comment. Please listen to these instructions for your husband. Juice Red cabbage, it's purple and strong. 3-4oz in the morning, 3-4oz when he goes to bed. Juice carrots and whole kale as well and Let him drink both of those juices once daily. For 4 days. He will regain strength, his body will heal. Please listen. If He can't take anything else give him the red cabbage juice twice a day. I'm begging you ma'am. Let those who have ears, hear.
UA-cam decided I needed to be introduced to Rabbit and his channel today. I am not subscribed and I haven't seen any other content but just wanted to honour his legacy here and extend my love and support to those loved ones missing him. Take care everyone 💛
Same here. Algorithm driven to see this at the top of my feed. What a life, and what an blessing to be able to say goodbye over time. Many never get that chance. Live and Love Every Day, for you never know what awaits you.
During some of my worst lows in life last year I binged on your entire channel. It felt like you were speaking in my room. I never realized how my suffering faded away and didn’t matter anymore. I kept wondering maybe you got super mainstream and story time took a little setback. I can never thank you for how much your life experiences inspired me. I pray for your beautiful family and friends. Your huge admirer from India!! Thank you Rob! You Legend!!!!
It took me a minute to realize that this was Rob. The Rob I've listened to every story he's told on VinWiki. The Rob with the unmistakable, southern accent, smooth-as-butter voice. I could listen to Rob read a cookbook. I don't know why this hit so hard. Gonna miss Rob. Lots. He seemed to have a story for everything. Thanks for everything!
I happened to come upon this video. It was in my suggested videos. I figured I'd give it a watch... Man, do I ever wish that I would have had the chance to know Rob. Never even heard of the man before this. May he rest in peace. 💔
This video was recommended by UA-cam and I've no idea why, I'm a 65 year old woman with no interest in cars at all but I'm now sobbing and wishing this man is in a peaceful place, my son hasn't been well lately and I'm getting him to go to the doctors today, he's been coughing up a lung and really worried, thank you Rabbit for doing this goodbye video, I think you're about to save a lot of lives - RIP beautiful soul ❤️
This hit hard. I found a beautiful CK truck for sale whilst looking around and sent Mr. Pitts a message via LinkedIn on 8/12. I instantly thought of him and figured I’d send it to him. Ironically, I’ve had stomach pains, acid reflux, and random vomiting for about three weeks. I’m otherwise a very healthy guy. After watching this, I’m booking an appointment with my doctor. Mr. Pitts reminded me of my father. Good Ol’ Boy with a witty sense of humor and the “I’ll be fine” attitude. Prayers to the family, and I’m sure I’ll be okay, but you’ve inspired me to finally get checked out. RIP.
I always loved listening to Rob and although he’s only 8 years older than me he always reminded me of my dad. Be well, I hope you get it figured out :)
Wow! I’ve never heard of Mr. Pitts until a few moments ago and what an impact. I don’t know why UA-cam brought this video to my attention or why I clicked to watch it? First and foremost I’d like to send my deepest and most sincere condolences to his spouse, family, and friends (PERIOD AND FULL STOP.) However, I find myself wondering if a message is being sent my way? I’ve never had heartburn issues yet over the last few weeks I’ve felt something was amiss and have been chewing antacids four at a time, five or more times a day and suffering from severe muscle cramps and chest pain. Mr. Pitts has motivated me to make the call to my doctor. Thank you.
I don't own a TV. I've never seen this show. But this popped up on my feed on UA-cam. Apparently, the universe/ algorythem believes that this man's passing is Noteworthy. So I went and watched several videos. I feel like I just missed out on something fantastic. A man with the ability to impact lives, and inspire people. I am glad that he lived a full and happy life. 💐 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌼 💐
There’s nothing “Full” about passing away at 45yo! Did he make a positive impact on the world…. 100%! Did he get to do things that most of us only DREAM of doing…..? Abso-freakin-lutely! But, due to apathetic doctors & big medical mistakes, this YOUNG guy lost his life far too soon! (Sorry, I’m not trying to come at you personally, I recently lost my dad due to very similar circumstances, so I’m a bit touchy about losing people too soon)
@@Beautifully_Broken I hear you. God, do I hear you. The Veteran's Administration had a policy that you can't get a colonoscopy until you're 50. One of my best friends had been trying to get one..but the VA denied it. so when they finally changed their policy to allow for younger ages.. it was too late. Now I have to watch him fade away.. bit by bit. Chemotherapy and radiation have ravaged his system. His smiles, once ready and free, are more rare now.. with an unhealthy dollop of pain and sadness. Once active, he now is too tired to do anything, anymore. He sleeps 12-16 hours a day. All I can do is be there for him. All I can do is pray.
Thank you to the UA-cam algorithm for letting me see this. I was unfamiliar with Mr Pitts until now - to his loved ones, you are in my thoughts and prayers ❤
I have never in my life commented on UA-cam. But this guy was a huge inspiration to me. I started my own Tool and Die shop 3 years ago. During the worse of times I would watch his videos and listen to how he never gave up. I never gave up either. Thank you sir because you never really knew the people you inspired. Godspeed.
"Each man's life touches so many others." Clarence, the angel from "It's a Wonderful Life" "Some say you can tell a lot about a man by how many friends he has. And this man, he had a lot of friends." - from the Pastor at my Grandfather's funeral. The entire area of the funeral home was packed and at least as many people were outside listening to everybody who spoke. Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, June 1987. The procession was miles long to the family cemetery.
‘Thank you for listening to my stories over the years’ Should really have been: ‘Thank you for listening to the best stories over the years’ What a loss. A true legend. 🙏
You know, sometimes I don't understand a single thing that's happening in this world. I don't who this gentleman is, what he did, what show he had on Netflix, or anything at all about him to be honest, so I'm not sure why youtube sent me a notification for a channel/individual that I do not follow...however, I'm glad it happened. I watched the video in its entirety, and I offer my sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and even to his fans, which do not appear to be few in number. I find it difficult to wrap my mind around why the best humanity has to offer tend to be the shortest lived, taken too soon for anyone's liking. Please take a moment, after finishing the video and reading this comment to go hug and kiss. (If appropriate) Let this be a reminder for everyone to cherish who and what you have, because it can all be gone in a moment. Be safe yall.
Never heard of Rob Pitts but I’m glad that UA-cam recommended this to me because it reminds me how to be present in my life. The comments have also helped immensely. I wish Rob’s family and friends much strength and that they can soread the inspiration that they received from him.
@LiseDominique I think the bit of advice he gave toward the end of this video needed to be heard by a great many people. The algorithm did a good thing bringing us here. You're absolutely right, it's a sign.
I remember him telling the story of his first wife, what he thought was his kid, etc. He told that about the time I went through my divorce... His upbeat attitude and smiling got me through some really dark days.... Glad he finally found his one and only, and she found him before his days were done. Everyone deserves that.
I work at O'Reilly auto parts. Rabbit has taught me things i never knew that I needed to know about customer service. He has made me better at my job by telling his stories. I miss him as much as i miss my grandma. I'm seriously considering driving 12 hours just to pay my respects at his funeral. I've never met this man but i feel like he is like an uncle to me. He was gone too soon. I love you Rob Pitts. Until next time Rabbit. I'll see you in heaven my brother.
It’s worth it, he’s worth it. Drive the 12 hours! I almost want to drive from California to be there. I feel the exact same way. I would do the drive if I didn’t have to work. I’d be there in a heartbeat
I loved hearing from you. You seem to have your mind going in the right direction over the last six months I have been sick. I have had diarrhea extreme. I’ve had test after test after test and they don’t know what it is so I just keep going back that’s all you can do. I agree with you make God keep his ever loving arms around you and your wife.
"If your body is telling you something is wrong don't stop until you figure it out" I cannot express enough how true this is. I saw a dozen doctors, and every single one would explain away my symptoms like they were nothing. Finally I got one that would actually listen and put the pieces together, and was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 34. I was very lucky to catch it so early, so I have more time to appreciate the life I have while I still have it. I'm sad to admit I don't know much about the person who posted this video but you have my deep and sincerest appreciation for what people are saying you've done. God bless.
All these defective docs should be recalled immediately. We got a whole nation wide industry of them who treat it just like another customer service position at a store.
People have to realize that You’re just an interruption to their next Tee time, vacation trip or lay with a mistress. Just like taking your car to a mechanic, that guy would rather be looking on FB Market place than working on your POS for $140 an hour labor rate .
@@RustyZipper then they shouldn't have signed up for that job. Malpractice ain't no joke. You shouldn't have a job that people's lives depend on if you aren't going to treat it as such. There are plenty of other employment options out there
Don't tell Ed or Doug when they meet you at the big dealership in the sky, but you were my favourite out of everyone on VINwiki. Thank you for entertaining me all these years, and even wishing me happy birthday a few years back. Rest easy, Rabbit.🏆
My man might finally get an EBay account! I can hear it now about St Peter‘this guy was dealing with 9 entrances to heaven a month and he’s dealing it with the person selling 9 coffins a week on eBay!. What’s really funny, is I had St Peter palm me a 20 to get me in’ Mate I’ll miss this guys stories
I normally don't write comments, mostly just a watcher, but it feels wrong not to share my story. I loved VinWiki it is what got me into cars and the community surrounding it. To put it plainly, no one told a story like Rob. They were the wildest and most outlandish things I could never even imagine, but it still felt like my best friend was telling it to me. Every word and story had amazing detail and always a few jokes. You will be missed, Rabbit. I hope to live a life half as interesting as you, and if I'm ever doing something incredible in an automobile, I hope you get to watch! Much love and rest in peace ❤
I recently watched some of Rabbit Pitts' videos on VinWiki, and I was truly inspired by his passion and story. I searched for more about him on UA-cam, hoping to find his own channel, but sadly discovered that he passed away on August 25th. It's heartbreaking to hear, especially as I’ve just arrived in the USA with the dream of becoming a car salesman, much like him. Though he's no longer with us, his legacy will continue to inspire me on my journey. Rest in peace, Rabbit Pitts.
This just came across my feed today and god, it has messed with me. Rabbit was funny, successful, charismatic, and seemed to be a helluva good dude. And yet, all that didn't matter, cancer can come after anyone. I'm 28 and haven't been to a doctor in a decade, I'm looking into my options this morning to book a checkup.
Damn rabbit I just finished watching season two and was not prepared for the last episode… you inspired me to open my own shop I just got 5 acres of land to get cars from Mexico to restore. God bless you and your wife could only imagine. God bless yall
I am not sure why UA-cam sent me this notification of Rob Pitts, I never watched any of his creations in past. But surely this is the best recommendation by UA-cam so far.. Rest in Peace Sir Rob 🙇🏻 May god give strength to your loved ones in this tough time! 🙏

I had the pleasure of meeting Rob a couple years back. My grandfather had just passed and Robs shop wasn’t far from where my grandad lived. I reached out to Rob to see if I could swing by and check it out since I was in the area. He sat there and talked to me and my dad like we had been lifelong friends! He truly was a great guy. His small gesture of letting me come check out his shop made what me and my dad were going through a little easier! Whether he knew it or not he made a huge impact on so many lives. RIP Rabbit you will be missed!
Because more money is made treating the problem than actually fixing the problem!!! Healthcare and buying a car is a great analogy, The DealerShip(Healthcare Industry) wants you to finance the car and make money from the markup, and then make more money from the interest(Treating the symptoms) instead of buying the car in cash(1 and done). Capitalism is like a beautiful person...But this person is Bi-Polar with schizophrenia.
@@stephaniebelgard6646 doctors have difficulty diagnosing gall stones I have more luck with google than seeing a doctor I am glad I found 1 doctor that figured it out
What is really sad is when people figure out why they are having issues and don’t tell their family that they have Dementia and Alzheimer’s had this happen to my grandmother, and it was one of the most depressing things to find her medication four years later when she was supposed to be taking it so that she wouldn’t degrade so fast, but she didn’t take it and she hid the medication from us and wouldn’t go pick the medication up that way no one would know at least until it got too late and then when she died, she had no brain thing was melted it was terrible
In 1970 we were at my grandfathers four boys. We were 9yrs old and 7 yrs old. Yep mom had two sets of twins. We kept saying we wished we were older. Grandfather told us to come with him we got some bailing twine 9 pieces and he cut them in half at the knot. He then had us tie the string together to make a long string and then tied it in the middle of a stick. He then had us start winding up the string. It first it was painfully slow then it became fast and easy. This was because the previously wound string made the stick fatter and didn’t need the same amount of rotations to get the string section on the stick. When finished he said boys this string is a symbol of your life don’t wish it away. Your later years will be here before you know it make good use of every year you have. They go away faster in the end. Life is but a vapor. Thanks Grandfather!!
So so so true - what an epic grandfather. I remember sitting with my late grandfather when he reached the ripe old age of 96 - and he said to me - Ask every 96 year old who wants to by 97 - all of us would take that. He passed at 98 in 2019, he was bedridden with cancer and a shadow of his former self, a former RAF WW2 veteran, and had worked until his mid 60's. I miss him everyday. At his funeral I spoke poignantly about him for ten minutes - they gave me a five minute slot - but pointed out that he was a legend in his own lunchtime, but will always be a legend in all of mine.
@@meab12 I'm 41 as well and couldn't agree more. Perfect analogy. We're old enough to see the writing on the wall and still young enough to do something about it.
Hi, I'm from Germany. I don't know you, your channel, your show, your persona, or anything about you. Your video was shown to me by chance. But the words you chose were good and honorable. And that's enough for me to leave a comment here and wish you all the best. Thank you very much. Warm Regard, Matthew
Rob, the fact I could reach out no matter how long and it was just like we hadn’t skipped a beat. You set a standard of telling stories, and living a life to create them. Goodbye isn’t appropriate, we borrow the German Auf Wiedersehen, until we meet again.
I didn’t know who Mr Pitts was until today when UA-cam brought this video to my attention. I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out at the current moment. Mr Pitts you seem like a real one bro, may you rest in peace! To all the family and friends my sincerest condolences 🩵
Rob, I came across your VINWiki videos quite a while ago and binged every single one. As an El Paso resident, I was estatic to find that my favorite automotive storyteller was going to be the host of a buy, repair/restore, and sell show based here. I loved every minute of season one and was eagerly awaiting season two. Thank you for the contributions you made to not only the automotive community but humanity as well. RIP, you will be sorely missed.
To a fella who felt like a friend when he was speaking, even though we never met. Someone up there is sitting around listening to your story telling. Rest easy.
I don't know how this came into my feed for me to watch amidst all the crap I scroll through but it was for a reason. Rest well Rob. I a complete stranger needed this video. I won't go into details but I stopped being thankful and stopped caring about myself a month ago. Just going through the motions and wallowing and thinking I'm not enough. I sit here in the dark, crying in my bed but your story just filled me with hope. An energy. Maybe it's your story. Your spirit. But wherever your soul is now. Thank you. I wish your family and loved ones the best in their lives. I know if your passing hit me this hard I know they must be going through tough times now. Love A stranger and another human

I had no idea that he passed away. I just finished watching Texas/Mex motors and I saw the memorial. I was floored. Listening to the last bit of him talking about 20 more years with Scooter. I am heartbroken over the news. Rest in peace my brother. You are going to be missed.
Not sure why this was recommended to me, but Im so sorry for this man's loss, whose clearly touched so many lives. God bless you on your journey home, Rob!
When you said, if your body's telling you something is wrong, don't give up. I can't underestimate how important this is. For 3 years I were ill, getting worser each month. Docs checked, and could not find anything. I was told to go home, change my lifestyle, job, start easing off. I never gave up. 2 months later, another doctor found my tumour and 2 other problems, including a really rare autoimmune disease. After a huge Op, thankfully, I recovered. The doctor told me I had a slow growing tumour and was around 4 years old. He said I had 6m to a year left. Never, ever, give up the fight if your body's telling you stuff. Things like this always bring it back to me. Respect to him and his family. Rest now, my friend.
Always good to get checked a second time by a different doctor if you're still feeling lousy after the first doctor told you nothing is wrong and basically change a few things
unfortunately in the united states people with medical degrees specifically MDs are lying cowards. They DO see the problem but refuse to treat the condition and intentionally lie to the patient and tell them everything looks good
This video just popped up on my feed ... I didn't even know who Rob was but I watched this video anyways ..... I'm 53 years old and this made me cry .... R.I.P. Rob
I also had not heard of Rob Rabbit Pitt’s until today either. But Rob, your words to me were words love and compassion. I am also dying of terminal cancer and probably only have a short time remaining. Your video said nearly everything I have said in my last letters to my loved ones - Ask questions and keeping asking until you get answers’. I vomited blood daily for 3 years + when I eventually had an MRI it was to late. It should never have happened. I fought for my country for 32 years and was twice decorated by HM The Queen - but they could not be bothered to send me for a scan. I would add one comment onto yours Rob and that is - Fight your corner and DEMAND to be heard. Think I will be joining you shortly my friend and then we can spend some time getting to know each other - I would like that. God Bless
You know I’ve been dealing with this cough for over a month. They give me an inhaler and antibiotics at urgent care and it gets better but never goes away. Watching this I’m calling first thing tomorrow to setup an appointment with a non urgent care doctor and get to the bottom of this. Rip man. Loved your voice and all your great stories
My cough was caused by a gluten allergy. Took awhile to figure it out. No more gluten / bread etc 😢 but no more coughing 😃 I can't complain. Simple solution.
Definitely see a pulmonary specialist. I’ve been battling a cough for nearly a year. Turns out it’s a bacterial infection of my right lung. The bacteria is present in soil and water and wet places (sinks, etc). It commonly infects people while they are hospitalized. The bacteria is called Psudomonas. There are 140 varieties. I would get antibiotics/steroids and things would improve for 5-6 , then symptoms would return. My daughter is a medical lab technician in Texas. I sent her a picture of my sputum and she knew what is was. I had a bronchoscope on 8/25. I’m currently hospitalized in Rome Italy. Do get yourself to a specialist. Good luck!
I second the gluten. I had/have the same problem. But also was the grease and sugars in everything I was eating/drinking. Had the cough for about a year. Went to like 4-5 doctors a few times each. None of them could figure it out. I narrowed it down to bread, but still didn't know wtf. My dad ended up finding me on the ground unresponsive the day after my birthday 2 years ago. No idea how I'm even here still. But it ended up being really high blood sugar causing the nonstop acid reflux like symptoms. I could blow my nose constantly all day long and would blow out thick white mucus ALL day. Back of neck, knees, and armpits were also getting darker. All signs of diabetes. Was in a coma for 3-4 days. Spent a month trying to walk/move around again until I was back to normal for the most part. Changed my diet over night (super difficult), and by the end of that first month, the cough was gone. Spend the money and have blood work done. Ask about your blood sugar. Diabetes is VERY prevalent these days with all the easy access to junk food these days.
My deepest condolences to Rabbit’s friends, family, and audience. Thank you for making this beautiful tribute. Hugs from a sudden widow and histio warrior.
I never met this man or his material but happen to receive a notification and a loss of any good man always heavy on the heart, but like that good ole’ man said…. “There's no way around grief and loss: you can dodge all you want, but sooner or later you just have to go into it, through it, and, hopefully, come out the other side.”-Johnny Cash
I was at urgent care last week with a 102.5 temp and chest congestion. Clearly pneumonia. They said I had an ear infection and sent me home, that night I was in ER at 103.5. Demand help, listen to your body. Amazing advice Rabbit, you were loved and will be missed. Thank you for the video.

I've wasted days, weeks, months, and years. Illness has turned into agoraphobia. Every one of you who can get out there, go and LIVE! I took living for granted, and now I just exist. 😢
Man...Rabbit sure knew how to tell a good story. My personal favorite is the one he told about his first day as a salesman at a small time Ford dealership where their best salesman sold like 10 cars a month...Rabbit talks to a guy about an F150, sells him on that F150, then the guy turns around and buys a whole fleet of them for the business he owned. I don't remember how many trucks the guy bought but it was quite a few. Rabbit had to have been the best story teller I've ever seen....and he had a lot of them. He may have been taken too soon, but something tells me he lived a very full life. RIP Rob.
Never knew the guy in person.. But I used to always, re-watch his stories on Vinwiki.. How I completely missed he had a youtube channel is beyond me.. Since Vinwiki shown Rabbit I was hooked and now hearing he's ascended to another level is quite.. Sad.. Cancer is fucking shit.. Lost my grandma to it this year.. Diagnosed.. Weirdly around the same time as Rabbit actually.. But she lost her life very quickly, a month after she finally gave up the ghost. Rabbit always had the good stories, the ones we all love, the humour we all love and click with, ugh.
WOW!! What an AMAZING man!! AMAZING words left for others to learn from. I've been in healthcare 36yrs & I tell a lot of people to listen to your body & get things checked out. Dont wait, it could be too late!!. Thank you!! May you RIP Mr. Rabbit Pitts 💜🙏🏻🤠
I’m Native American & I’m a firm believer in the afterlife…. Not religion, but the afterlife. I’ve experienced it myself & when family members passed over. Lots of Native American descendants have these spiritual gifts, so many of us will get visitations from our ancestors, or through very surreal dreams. We cross over when we are done here, it’s time to go home. Our work here is done. I’m very proud of this young man and all that he has accomplished. I hope where he is right now in the heavens, that he is proud of himself! I’m sure he is with his ancestors and tribe there, free as a bird!!! I wish people would celebrate our loved ones, instead of mourning, after they pass over to go home. It’s real, and they have done their work here, they deserve to go back to their real home. Our time here is only for alittle while…. We will see them all soon ☀️
We are here only to learn a life lesson we commit to before the Universe places us here. Here is temporary, but the lesson is forever when we return home.
I am a firm believer as well. I still get visits from my Dad and other people who have passed in my dreams. I take comfort in knowing they are still around, just not in physical form ❤️
I usually don't comment on videos, but this guy was a legend in the automotive world. His stories were legendary and genuine. My favourite story has to be about the one when he sold 8 cars in one day - "Mr. 8 Cars In One Day"!
Currently at work sitting on a forklift crying, I seen the title of vinwiki’s video about robs passing. I couldn’t believe it, watching the video made me tear up. And watching this one made me ball my eyes out. Rob even though I’ve never met you, you always felt like a good friend. I’ll always remember and cherish the times that I would message you on Facebook about a vehicle or ask you on your opinion on my truck that I was building. You would always respond within 5-10minutes and tell me how it was and give me ideas. R.I.P rabbit. Gone but never forgotten
Hey everyone, this is Jeff (Rob's Videographer). I am with him now in Hospice. He just passed at 21:45 on 08/25/2024. I will be sure to preserve the channel. He will be missed and we will never forget him! ♥️

I have never heard of Rob "Rabbit" Pitts until today. For some reason, UA-cam felt I needed to see this. As a medical practitioner, it hit hard when the words "Always ask questions. Always get answers" came across the screen. Listen to your body and always seek answers.

that really sucks you just found it. he has some great stories.
I am so so sorry, I truly am

Be well, Gabriel!❤
Gabriel, any will to try things like alternative medicine? I have a reason I'm asking.
What were your symptoms and diagnosis?
Praying for you man. Hang in there
Never heard of Rob Pitts but I’m glad that UA-cam recommended this to me because it reminds me how to be present in my life.

“ if your body is telling you something is wrong, don’t stop until you figure it out” godsmacked. That just hit me like a ton of bricks. R.I.P.
I remember him telling the story of his first wife, what he thought was his kid, etc. He told that about the time I went through my divorce...
His upbeat attitude and smiling got me through some really dark days....
Glad he finally found his one and only, and she found him before his days were done. Everyone deserves that.
Amen. Life is shorter than we think!!!!
If you do make that trip I can guarantee you that you will meet and make friends with some folks for a lifetime.
That's beautiful. You should go.❤
You are loved and missed in the uk Rab, sweet dreams and love to your family x😊

Someone perfectly described Rob's voice as "honey poured over gravel". I'll never forget the man, his voice and his stories.
Oh wow, that is a perfect description of his voice, loved his stories!

I cannot express enough how true this is.
Try the carnivore diet. Many people with conditions like Parkinsons and MS, etc have managed to reverse these conditions. It's amazing what it can do.

As a hospice nurse I cannot agree more. So many people treat the symptoms instead of getting to the problem.
Not people, doctors. They spent 10, 12 years educating themselves for this?
I avoid them like the plague.

@@shanebroom9173 *Jesus.. so her brain was squish cheese at the time of her death?. that's terrible*
Thats a superb analogy. I'm 41, and every year feels like 2 or 3 months used to feel.

God Bless
I never saw one of his videos before. This is a hell of a start. Rest In Peace and thank you.
Dont wait man. My neighbor had the same probleme and waited too long and it was throat cancer. I hope its not your case but go have it checked out.
I hope you will be okay. Good on you for taking that step. Good luck.
My deepest condolences to Rabbit’s friends, family, and audience. Thank you for making this beautiful tribute.
Hugs from a sudden widow and histio warrior.

I also have had family and friends visit me in dreams after they have crossed over.
We are here only to learn a life lesson we commit to before the Universe places us here. Here is temporary, but the lesson is forever when we return home.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light.
There is no afterlife. We only get on go at this!
I am a firm believer as well. I still get visits from my Dad and other people who have passed in my dreams. I take comfort in knowing they are still around, just not in physical form ❤️
