Love the solo. Not many bands are doing solos now a days, one of the things I love about erra.
And also if they do solos.. It'll be very short... But erra expand their solos... That's another thing I like about them

Erra never disappoints, ever. Their music is like sooothing yet heavy at the same time. I can relax to it but then throw my 5 year old threw a wall the next moment lol
Although I’m a huge fan of Drift, I’ve been a fan since Impulse, and I personally loved and appreciated their sound in the Moments of Clarity EP the most. There was something raw and technical about that sound that I sadly thought they’d never return to. They hit on it some with this track. Its like a baby of all their recent albums. I’m in love.
The breakdowns in this reminded me of Bloodletter by August Burns Red, and you loved Bloodletter.
Jesse Cash is an amazing guitarist and vocalist. I lovr hos side project as well been a fan since Dreamcatcher and Impulse

This song is what got me into erra's older stuff i knew they were around but didn't listen to them until this song released a few years ago.
Not enough solos in today’s metal
Not a huge fan of long solos, but a solid 15 second solo that melts my brain makes me veeery happy. The only exceptions are blackened deathcore solos for some reason, mental cruelty’s Ultima Hypocrita solo makes me mark out

You should check out all their other stuff if you haven't. Definitely a lot to enjoy and love there.
Every album is its own experience, so I'll say that. Especially when you get to the last song on each (they really like to do those somber tracks at the ends of albums which I always love, especially at end of albums).
Everything ERRA is sick. Check out all their pre-drift work too...it is always groovy, pensive, heavy, and all-around bad ass.
@@reaper012345 oh yeah for sure, I definately have. That's what I meant in my previous comment (everything before, albums or eps whatever it may be, even their pre Impulse eps and demos are actually good too).
I agree though, pre Drift Erra is very good like you said though (Impulse, Augment, and Moments of Clarity EP), though I do enjoy Drift and Neon too, and I'm sure whatever they have coming out next.

northlane, veil of maya, and thornhill sounds pretty similar to this and they're also very good.

@@sarcasm4371 i think thornhill is pretty similar. northlane is much more produced and industrial but all of them is so good.
@@ariqfauzan4982 Thornhill similar how? ERRA's scream vocalist typically has always had much more lower tones and higher highs, listen to Augment and Impulse. Their riffs are typically much more faster tempo and they have a lot of guitar solos in their music. ERRA isn't very atmospheric, just prog, and Thornhill has a lot of atmosphere on their tracks. I just wanna know where you're making these comparisons.

Drift is by far my favorite album from them. I've given everything else a chance and I never got the feel that drift gave me. This song hit the nail on the head holy shit THIS is what I love about Erra! 🔥🔥🤘

Their guitarists have always been incredible but my goodness, they stepped it up. Jesse Cash and JT are an incredible duo of vocalists. This band takes the time to create beautiful metal. They pay so much attention to the details.
Their production is some other level shit. Erra is always spectacular IMO

@@MrPatrickbuit Yeah I don't agree with Augment being repetitive at all, every song sounds very unique to me with its own style. Definitely my favorite album of all time, Neon would be the only album by them I'd consider to have any repetitive sounds on it, and I still wouldn't describe it as that.
@@sarcasm4371 For me personally, when I listen to Augment I usually just do Alpha Seed, Hybrid Earth and Dementia. Also there's one track with that magical string instrument intro that I quite like

for real, that song is so good and ffak is just getting even more generic and bland than they ever were
ffak never had game. people just blew them up for some reason and I never understood it. it becomes clear what the members are capable of with the newer stuff and it is disappointingly clear that it isnt much.
Rakshith Bekal I thoroughly enjoyed Creation/Destruction and Dark Skies but every single off of this new album is generic trash. It really is quite sad

I think the song is amazing, but it feels like something is off with the mixing. The guitar sounds like it's totally drowning out the scream vocals for me. I've listened to it on a couple different pairs of headphones, my computer speakers, and on the stereo system in my car because I thought the audio device may have been the reason it sounded that way. Still sounds the same no matter how I listen to it. Really hope it doesn't sound like that on the full album release, but I'm sure that's already ready to go, so it probably will.
