My grandma teases me for going to bed so early LOL she has to stay up to watch the 10pm news so doesn't go to bed until almost 11. Here I am some nights at 7 wondering if it's too early to go to sleep :p

I’m not Maya, but I have some friends who understand that I sleep at 9, so we’d usually meet up at 7 to hang out a little if it’s a weekday. Other than that, I also make exceptions on weekends to have a life :’) it’s hard, but the habit is definitely worth it.
It's just part of being an adult, you gotta find your routine. My friends and I will meet up after work and grab dinner if we want to hang out during the week. Usually when you work those standard daytime hours M-F(and especially if you're a teacher dealing with a bunch of kids all day and are working WAY more than just standard hours...) you usually aren't doing a lot of going out at night during the week lol In reality, most people I know don't just go out a lot during the week. Your priorities change a lot as a working adult...as does your energy level...and budget. So this is definitely more of a realistic night routine. Plus, there's always Friday nights/weekends.
First thing I’m gonna do when I wake up at 5am is show my wife and daughters 1:12 of the clip and hope to god they start doing that too. I don’t know how your channel was recommended to me, but I did watch it and I like it.

You remind me so much of myself before I had kids. Let me say that these healthy habits at night and morning give you such an advantage when you do have kids! Granted things look way different and you may not have time to do all of these things, but as you find your new normal you start to add these habits back in and it fills your cup so you can be a better mom! Subscribed when you mentioned your faith so openly. I have to wake up at 4:30 for work. I have two young children so our evenings look a little different but I can definitely sleep at 9:30 but a lot of nights I stay up till 10:30-11 just on my phone. This video was definitely a good reminder that I need to choose to sleep earlier (emphasis on “choose”).

Recently I’ve been waking up at 5am aiming to at least be in bed or asleep by 9 but 10 at the latest. Doing this I’ve actually been more relaxed throughout the day I feel more accomplished and positive. I even wake up and WANT to workout before always forced workouts. my diet also has even changed just by waking up early, more healthy. It’s been a great change.

I will never be the person going to bed at 9 pm and waking up at 5 am, but I'm trying to wake up earlier (for me) and try to not sleep so late. I'm done with high school but I still try and have a routine because otherwise I feel so unproductive. Wake up: 6am Sleep: 10pm, get your body in a consistent habit and it will know when it needs to shut down so you can fall asleep easily.

You're really lucky to have an 8 to 4 job. I start at 10 and work till 7 or 8. By the time I reach home it's 8-9. As a result I end up sleeping late and waking up late and not doing much. Also, I've heard from my mother that it's healthy to shower before dinner. So thought I should tell you.
I used to go to bed very late (1-2 am) every night, so one night I was extremely tired so I went to bed at 9pm and woke up at 5:30am, and now I can’t stop doing that!
