I’m going to lose my mind I have watched hours of paneling videos and cannot figure it out for the life of me 😭😭 yours is so beautiful I can only hope to figure this out someday
Just unboxed my first Sentro knitting machine. Thought I'd just jump right in and try a flat panel. Boy, it's not as easy as it looks! So after dropping quite a few stitches and scratching my head for quite a while I've worked out a couple of things. First I attached a couple of weights to my knitting so that as it gets longer it pulls the knitting down and keeps the stitches on the needles. Second, because I want to knit long things like scarves, I keep the knitting machine on my lap so as it gets longer it can fall straight down between my knees keeping the tension on the knitting. You have to move the weights up every now and again to keep the tension going. And lastly the same rule applies for machine embroidery for those of you who have tried it- never take your eyes off your work.... that's when you get dropped stitches. Thank you for your tutorial Infiniti, it really helped.Julie
I get my machine this Wednesday!! I’m so excited to get it !! I have the big one and only one hat came out nice the other ones omgggg what a hot mess!!! Dropped more sts than I can count lol
Thx 4 Your charming Video. I have the bigger Twin of this knitting machine and start knitting on//with it. Now I got it. Thx 4 explain the "how to do it", incl "don't be frustrated" 😉😉💐💐💐💐👍🏻👍🏻 Step by Step, it's the Theme 😉
Thank you, Infiniti! I am having a tough time with these panels! I bought a large machine also, but it keeps dropping stitches in one place no matter what I try. (P or T) I'm sending it back for a replacement. If the next one doesn't work, I'll look into the expensive ones from Germany. Gb~ Mamaw Christy
Hi Christy! Flat panels are a struggle, I've found that it just takes a lot of practice and patience but if your machines are dropping stitches, I'd recommend testing different types of yarn to see if it's just a compatibility problem first. If you're still having that problem, I'd definitely send it back.
Hi I thought it was about panel knitting? If i need to make a narrow panel for doll scarfs , hiw do i set the machine to stop so i can rotate it the other way? Thanks 😊
I bought me today and spend 4 hours trying to make my first flat panel. And I'm still losing stitches at the beginning of the row... I'll try and try I'm stubborn. Thanks for the video and greetings from Costa Rica
Hi trying to do panel on Sentro 22, in your video the machine only misses 4 hooks, on mine when I crank handle it only moves 7 hooks so it's missing 15 hooks. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you
Hi there! I've never had that specific problem but I have had an instance where my 48 pin didn't crank right and it turned out that my switch was set halfway between the settings. I just switched my machine into tube knitting mode (T), cranked a full round and my machine was reset to normal. I would try doing that without yarn in the machine and then switch back to panel knitting mode (P) to see if its cranking properly this time.
hi i recently received my 1st knitting machine , the Sentro 48 peg. can i make the scrunchies on my 48 peg? and what yarn do you suggest, i ve tried 2 kinds , i get half way done. and i drop stitches?, how do it without curling afterwards?
Hi, You can definitely do that. Just cast on as you normally would and only crank over those 15 needles that you need. After your yarn catches in the 15th needle, you can start cranking back the other way.
Hi, No, when you knit in panel mode you will always have three stitches less than the total needle count. There isn't a way to maintain more stitches. Thanks for watching!
When it comes to my own head, no. But I've made hats for friends in the past and they ended up being too big for them. I don't have the 40 needle version yet though.
I am confused, he put it in panel mode started in on the black hook and yet you could cast on and go past the place. It would stop on the left? I don’t understand help. Thanks 😄

Make sure you keep the thread tension stable
Thank you so very much for this video.🙏🏽

I'm having the same issue with mine 😢 did you ever figure out how to fix it

Can you tell me if I can do a panel with only 15 of the 22 pins? If so how do I know when to start cranking back?

@@InfinitiCraftingCo that's the answer to my question to. ❤
Hi, when knitting a flat panel do I need to cast on two more stitches than I actually need for my pattern. Thank you
Hi,
No, when you knit in panel mode you will always have three stitches less than the total needle count. There isn't a way to maintain more stitches. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate the tips but how do you cast off? The video ended without casting off.
Hi Becka, I have an independent video on casting off the machine back on my channel in the Sentro knitting machine playlist.
Can we make blouse using 22 needle mahine
You can if you make a lot of patches and sew them together.
do you case off the same way as making a tube? if so what side to you cast off from?
Can you tell me how to do a very narrow panel? I’m needing only 9 stitches
Thanks. I’ll give it a try. If I need 15 finished stitches do I add extra 3 on each end to have the correct number of stitches?
Very helpful.
Can a sentro/addi machine knit stockinette panels?
Hi Steve, the sentro/addi only makes stockinette panels actually. The garter stitch pattern you see is the wrong side of the work.
how do i take that knitted panel off the machine, so it holds together?
Hi,
I have a casting off tutorial back on my channel 😊
Do you ever find that the 48 is too big for a hat and should use a 40? The 48 it very loose on my head and I just got the machine today.
When it comes to my own head, no. But I've made hats for friends in the past and they ended up being too big for them. I don't have the 40 needle version yet though.
What size do the flat panels come out at please?
I am confused, he put it in panel mode started in on the black hook and yet you could cast on and go past the place. It would stop on the left? I don’t understand help. Thanks 😄
Mine doesn’t stop at the black needle I’m so confused
In panel mode, the machine doesn't stop at the black needle, it goes past it by 2 sts and then drops those three.
I liked this video ver much but I wanted to see the panel once you took it off the machine!
I think u might find a weight on each end would help u not lose stitches. Give it a try!
