This has been the most helpful video I have found so far! Thank you for helping my sanity!!
I do have a question though please.
I keep finding my last hooks have multiple loops on them when I do panels. Sometimes 3 or 4! And then my yarn cant fit under the hook any more and I get cross and take the knitting off. Does anybody know why I might be getting this please?
Hoping somebody knows! Thank you ❤️
And thank you again for the video! ❤
Thank you very much. I hope someone can answer your questions, I certainly have no idea. I've never seen that before. I will pin this comment hoping someone can help.
This happens to me too - I think it happens because the stitches aren't fully down on the edge needles, OR because I'm actually holding the tension too tight when I do the edge stitches. It is fixable, but it's fiddly and awkward. If you look up "bunched stitches on a Sentro", you'll see an example of how to fix it. Good luck! :)
I've also realised something - the stitches need to be right down at the bottom, not just "not at the top" I think I was leaving several of my stitches just partway down, thinking that if they weren't at the top, it would be fine.
@@susansays5627 some very good information thanks so much
Thank you so much, I was getting frustrated with how my stitches kept dropping at the ends lol
You have save my mind from being destroyed by this machine, and casting on a panel and keeping it going without loosing the ends , or the ends ending up a messy knot , thank you so much.
I have spend hours on trying to teach myself after looking at various great videos but I just couldn’t get it and then I stumbled into your excellent tutorial. Thank you so much for this awesome video. After watching your video (a few times) I made my first panel last night and realized what I doing wrong or what the machine is doing wrong 🤣. Thank you so much and many blessings to you. 🙏🏼🥰 PS, I have subscribed to your channel.
Thank you so very much. Glad I could help. ❤️

This video saved my life im not kidding

Thanks so much! I have been having that problem!
Your welcome 😀
I always get that side not working as well. The rest works nicely. Great video
I started using this just recently because my daughter keep growing out of the clothes before I can finish making them by hand. So i got the sentro and it’s just the thing I needed. Mine doesn’t have the issue with it not pushing down once I get a few rows in
Mine does for a few rows depending on yarn i use, but after about 10 rows, once the weight is there, its pretty good.
Very helpful, thank you!
Your welcome
I figured this out too myself that my tension on the ends has to be tighter. Then I saw your video and it confirmed what I was doing. One side of stitches always looks beautiful the other side is crooked. I am going to get this I keep practicing. I know the machine will behave once I finally get it. I think the machine eventually loosens up with work in it repeatedly. It's kinda of stuff because it's brand new.
I agree…Once the bugs were worked outta mine, it does behave differently now, 100%.
Thank you!
You fixed me! ❤️❤️
Glad I could help!
Thank you
Thank you thank you Thank you! I was trying to figure out why mine kept dropping stitches every time!
Your welcome 😀
I could hug you for posting this!!! Thank you so much! I've been getting discouraged because I keep dropping the last stitches and this makes perfect sense as to why. ❤️
So Glad this was helpful ❤️
Thank you! Your explanation really helped me!
I’m glad it helped, thanks for letting me know, its nice to hear
@@BeyondtheLens53 ❤ I've been so apprehensive about doing a panel. I thought, it doesn't stop before the white peg. When you mentioned those extra 2 pegs don't pick up the yarn, I was happily surprised.
Took me a long time, and a lot of mistakes before i finally figured it out, lol
@@BeyondtheLens53 I hear that lol I used to be a knitter and crocheter but I've had 3 strokes so my left hand (dominant) has a hard time and it takes too long. So I got the Sentro and several looms which helps me continue to do something I love! ❤
I’m sorry to hear about your strokes. I’m also a crocheted, i suck at knitting , lmao, so i got a machine, 22 pin and 40 pin, and i have looms as well.
Hi!!! What are the numbers on the hooks that we are to focus on at the beginning and end ?
Your not focusing on the numbers..only the beginning st. And the last st. Makes no difference what number peg it falls on.
You explained it very well ! I think I try tomorrow been working all day and still cant figure out . Wasted so much yarn
Thank you and i hope you can get it tomorrow, Got my fingers crossed for ya
@@BeyondtheLens53 I finally mastered it! Had ti watch you video and others. Took pieces of tips from one video and added the tips and it clicked! Thanks
@purrfect_aka_sun4138 fantastic!
Thank the demonstration. It making things more clearer on what is happening tjat might cause some of us trouble. I noticed she didn't have waste yarn for her project. Is this because of the way she are positioning her yarn on the knitting machine or this just for demonstration purposes you don't that have use any?
Hi, i didnt use waste yarn as i was just demonstrating .
How many inches is the panel? Was wanting to see if its big enough for my dog bed cover . Does every peg measure a inch ?
You would have to measure your machine..probably make a couple panels and mattress.st. them together.
May I ask what yarn you were using for this tutorial? And thank you for the great tutorial.
Could be loops & Threads Soft and shiny, but im not positive. This video was made 2 years ago, my memory isnt that good, lmao but it looks like the yarn i mentioned above.
Can you make video from start how to knit pane to showl with these details please? What needle to start? I like this tutorial but I need to starting point. Thanks
I sure can!
Editing video now..will have it up in a few days
Can you tell us the numbers on the pegs you're talking about! The machine has numbers in between each peg, from 1 to 48, 48 is the last peg, it will make it easier for me to get to understand the concept of it, thanks.
Yes I am aware the pegs are numbered, thank you. It does not matter which peg numbers you use. You use whichever ones you wish. The numbers will not change how a flat panel is done.
Do you have to do that every single time you do a round... I'm not sure I'll invest in it if its so finicky!
No..not every single round..but it is something to watch out for..once I had a few rows..I was good to go..weights can also be used to help. On
@@BeyondtheLens53 Thanks for that.. I'm wondering how it would behave with the adapter as although it would be faster, it could be a disaster... I've been debating all day on whether its worth getting!!
@@vivienlee610 I love the adapter, i use mine ALL the time, lol, however for a flat panel, i would suggest not too unless you are really good at controlling the speed, the flat panel works up pretty fast on its own anyway, BUT if you buy it for other full circle projects, its well worth the money.
@@BeyondtheLens53 Great! I am persuaded! Thank you so much for your time and help 👍
Lol your welcome
Every time I try the very first stitch where the yarn tail is falls off, every single time. I can’t get past the first row after the cast on row.
And your cast on row in forwards and back?
Editing video now..will have it up in the next few days
Price and where available
Not sure what your asking me?
Roughly how wide of a panel does this result in?
Great video! I keep reading reviews complaining they can't get flat panels working on these machines, but I think you convinced me to buy one.
This Particular machine has 48 Pins(hooks), you can buy 40 pins and even 22 pins . the 48 pin gives you roughly a 36" panel width
Thank you was getting desperate
So happy I could help
Amigável estas aulinhas pra vender .estes grandinhos da maquina
Você provavelmente poderia ganhar um bom dinheiro vendendo
What is Lion brand?
It's a name brand for yarn
@@BeyondtheLens53 oh. Thank you 😊
@@kimberlyfaure1845 your welcome
Where can I buy it ?
I bought my SENTRO off Amazon
@@BeyondtheLens53 and can I use for make cloths for adult ?
@@vanessamarques5286 Yes, you can by using the flat panel setting, you would just have to sew it all together, but lots of people use it for that
Could you help me with a link to buy ?
@@vanessamarques5286 Its just amazon
J en ai une. ,mais je n ai pas encore essayé. .se n Est pas la même marque. Alors je regarde .Je ne comprends pas ce que vous dites .jaimrais les explications en français svp. Merci. Bonne journée à vous.

I wanted to just throw away this stupid machine. All Videos were terrible bad and explained not the edges at all (also beginner Videos). First Video which is helpful!
