I think it's important to say that the power supply doesn't have automatic voltage detection. You can see the switch in the right side vent and you can change it with an Allen key.
If they're going to provide a new model to print, it should be a benchy tuned to this printer. It's always one of the first models people print, so a tuned model would produce the best benchy this printer can produce.
I don't understand the thumbs down... Anyways, I have already experienced my printer losing power during a black-out. I confirmed to restart after power came back-up, it began processing the request & didn't do much after waiting for it to restart where it left off after the power outage . Decided to take a quick dinner which took another 45 minutes to come back to the check the progress. It had resumed resumed printing the product but I could see the line made at the spot when it resumed after the power outage.
hola, yo uso el vidrio del otro lado y evito que se pegue demasiado, si suele pasar eso le pongo alcohol o bien unos minutos en el freezer y se despega, saludos
Nice volume! I wonder if the stock hotend can be changed since the sensor is embedded, and also the possibility if adding and extra z motor and t8 lead screw
Hi, I have a problem with the printer on the extruder, it says that it can't heat enough and I trying to desmantle the hot end but i can't, can you do a video about this pls? Nobody upload videos about this printer and the technical support doesn't help
Thank you for your very helpful video. It helped me setting the printer up. I had problems printing PETG with this printer and trying to find the right settings. Do you have any to suggest? I just bought it for 2 days and the seller said the extruder throat is clogged and I need to open it up to clear the clog which I'd really appreciate it if you can upload a video of how to do that.
Hello, do you have any further information or picture or video on the layout of the hotend? Wondering how it is setup and therefore if it is possible to upgrade it
It is very similar to CR6. Not so easy to upgrade like Ender3 or similar printers, but it will be possible by time when sellers came out with their solutions
Compared to my E3V2 I got better quality, similar quality with Ender5Pro. But I believe that this may be different from printer-to-printer, due those moving on V-slot wheels, and supported on one side. Depend a lot of mechanical settings by user.
The SKR 2 main board has 3 PWM fan headers and 2 non PWM (= always 100%) fan headers. What fans are connected to the PWM headers? Can the hotend (extruder) fan be modulated, or at least switched off at the end of a print? Can you possibly connect the hotend fan to a PWM header and control it through G-code commands? Must the firmware be reconfigured and recompiled to achieve this?
Edit: The stepper drivers and case fans are always on (@ 100%) due to wrong configuration file parameters. In practice everything is always on at 100%, except the part cooling fan. Very bad design. Additionally they have rushed an half backed untested firmware and quickly abandoned it. These Chinese printers cost little money because they have cut all corners. As usually you get what you pay for, sometimes less, never more.
You did not do enough testing. Turning off the ABL and only printing in the middle does not show if the ABL works. I have used a level testing print and so far it shows the ABL system does not work. It may be necessary to change the start GCODE.
@@MyTechFun OK, thanks. I purchased the printer on eBay (from a seller called BIQU), using a $50 discount code offered there. However, seller is messaging me that it's out of stock, while eBay says it's been shipped. So I don't know what's going on there. Is the Amazon discount code for the printer or the hotbed? If it is for the printer, how much is the discount?
@@MyTechFun Amazon listing (from your link) shows only one seller, and it's not BIQU, and the one seller has a whopping price for the printer of $698.72. I doubt any discount code would make up for such an inflated price.

Just got the BIQU B1 and I'm loving it, but almost anything would be better then my Anet A8.
Please test thermal runaway protection and other safety features/concerns as part of your review process.
I am having thermal runaway issues on my Se plus. Is this common with this model?

all that empty space in the bottom and the 1 extra stepper slot makes this seem like quite good deal already.
$35 for a 2nd Z stepper and $120 for an IDEX kit. I plan on buying it soon

Did you find out how to dampen that horrible Y-axis noise?
I'm still looking.

I don't think hotend can be replaced easily. BQ will have upgrade kit for dual Z.
Damn... Igor has some blade movement there...
Hello thanks for the video !
Have Biqu update de filament run out procedure on the screen sice end Augustus ?
Hm, I didn't tested new firmware yet.
great video as always 👍😀

Try 240C on nozzle, 70-75C on the bed. Maybe raise the retraction a little bit and reduce max cooling to 50%.

@@MyTechFun Interesting, thanks. Is the heatbreak still similar enough to allow you to use something like a bi metal heatbreak meant for an ender 3?
How would u rate the Printing Quality with Ender series?

excellent review, very informative.
Do you think this is better value than the Artillery Sidewinder X1?
No, if you add BL touch to X1 (X2 already has a bl touch)

What is the code (in the description) for?
It should be amazon coupon code. If it doesn't work, let me know, I will ask BIQU or remove it.

they still have the same models, and the same sample filament. It should be enough to JUST finish either sample gcode.
Put subtitles, please, thank you.
