I been waiting for this vid. I just copped an EPS with an unnamed or unlabeled expander. I needed to know how to check for this particular detail. I’m about to go check it out in a few shakes. Thanks for posting this one. Congratulations by the way.😎👍🏾

@@olesolja1407 looks like you have don’t have any memory expansion. You can probably find a cheap 2x expander. I’m just being greedy with my memory 😂

@@lugo4905 yep. That’s what I suspected. That particular expander unit must be an off-brand serving as a port cover I guess. I have contacted Zin C., and waiting for a reply. It’s good that you have one. That’s definitely a good thing.

Well what a ya know, I took the expander out and flipped it the other way and that made a difference. So it was upside down when I bought it I guess. Now at 52.1 kHZ it is showing 9.91 sec sample time. Cool beans. Had it not been for your vid I still would not have known at this point. So it must be the 2 x memory expansion. That made my evening.

@@olesolja1407 you can get a lot done with the 2x expansion. I just wanted to be able to load more sounds, but I’ve never had an issue with memory when creating a beat with the 2x memory. Just sample at lower rates. Drum breaks sound dope at 12 or 16.

Hi there thank you for all the vids, quick question my eps was working fine but today got wierd error messages : orrr1144 reboot

That error code is usually associated with a midi error. Try disconnecting any midi cables from the EPS

Would be cool if someone would clone the output expander.

Oh my goodness man can we correspond I also have a asr-10 that I'm getting ready to have refurbished so my goal is to have Ableton Zen beats M-Audio code series 61 run together is that possible how would you? I'm open to any suggestions thank you thank you thank you for your content!!!

The big question for you is “how do I want to use the asr in this set up?”
Do you want to run loops from Zenbeats into it and use it independently and sequence within the asr?
Or, do you want to sequence Zenbeats with the asr and trigger sounds in the asr from Zenbeats?

Hi LUGO Oh I thought about your question and what I realized is that I want to create and Sample in the Asr10 Zenbeats & Garage Band. Then finish i.e. effects EQ and master in Ableton. That question it made me think about my workflow. Any suggestions I'm open to thanks again.
