Hehe, you're right!! Chef hats are actually made exactly the same way, but you'd starch the top so it would stand up poofy instead of flopping to the side. :D
Fun fact! Before I followed you, I was following a UA-camr called Dollightful and she always sewed right over her pins in the machine and so I didn't know that was bad until I started following you XD also, great video as always, and I love how he looks!!
Its actually not bad but it is risky! you gotta know what your doing and the pin is perfectly straight if its not it'll break the sewing needle and you gotta be slow also it depends on the fabric! I usually sew over my pins but sometimes I don't wanna bother with it and take them out so no its not bad at all! :3
Oh gosh, yeah, I'd say it's not worth the risk... I sent a sewing machine to its grave a few years ago by hitting a pin. It broke the whole machine. :< I try not to forget now.
Fantasy, I’m obsessed with anything to do with the genre! My friends joke and say my past life was that of a Queen because I adore history and any and everything about royalty
Thank you for this! Was trying to figure out how to make this and this was so simple to follow. Turned out great!
Hes adorable! !! Hope you share the rest of his costume! !!
Thank you!! I'm planning to, once I get around to it. :D I'm going to work on getting my remaining backlog of existing patterns up first, though.
He looks great! It looks like one of those stereotypical chef hats, except it's red and fancy, haha. It came it out really well! :D

+Ariel It's certainly not worth the risk in case you break your machine and need a new one XD I would *not* risk it now I know better lol
