We promised to bring you back to the rural cottage and land we had put an offer in to buy. We give you another look around, a bit more of a look this time.
Such a shame it ended up that way as you can see it was a lovely home at one point. I reckon there's salvageable sellable stuff in that house. Love the old white washed farm houses with the two chimneys. It's the style of house that stood where my old house was built.
You are so right, this cottage would have once been a lovely homely place to live, and it desperately needs to be brought back to life. Having watched both videos several times, it would be surprising if they left some of the stuff in there, and it looks like there are so many things there that hold memories too, like photograph albums, I feel it will be hard to throw people's memories away.
@@roaminginraymond Yes, I am sure that is the right thing to do. I would hate it if I had left memories of my parents there and some years later regretted not collecting the things before I sold a place on.
Loads of potential! Once you get all the “stuff” removed and can actually work on the house itself it will steadily become a wonderful home. Lovely garden area and so full of birds song. Good luck

So much potental to make it a very nice place. I think you need a hazmat suit on before you start moving stuff out. If you make as good a job as you did the RV it will be a great home.
Thank you very much for the supporting comment. For sure, there will need to be some protective equipment used, we have no idea what nasties the house holds, and yes we of course want to come out of this project fit and healthy.

The story, as we know it 🙂 The cottage belongs to a 17 years old girl whose father died. It has sat empty for 4 years or more, and during that time there was a major flood with a pipe having burst in the loft. We don't know if the pipe has been repaired or the water just turned off. We understand that the girl cannot face going back to the property, and so we have been asked would we empty it of all the belongs.. We can picture what the place will look like, and after we remove all the belongings and replace the ceilings then things will begin to visually improve significantly.
A heck of a lot of work! Such a shame it ended up the way it did. I know you will do an amazing job and honestly looks a lovely place! I think you could sell some of that junk. Cheers for the look around and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future!
Thanks Lee. It is a shame, but if it were not in the state it would have been out of our price range in the area it is in, so that is good news for us. We will keep everyone posted with when we get the keys and the progress. There will be a separate UA-cam channel for the cottage renovations, but when that is ready we will let the subscribers know. The day to day RV living will remain on this channel.
