I've got one just like this coming to the house tomorrow from my local kubota dealer for a week rental. Got to do a little excavating and grading for an above ground pool thats coming that my wife wanted. Got a brush cutter coming with it to clean up around the property and along the fence rows.
By chance did you look at the KXO 33-4 as well? I’m looking at it and the 40. But wondering if it’s worth the $30K more. Also I’m not sure if I need the bigger machine. I’ll be using it mainly to take out stumps from harvested timber. Mostly less than 3’ in diameter.
@@j0917DW Well not knowing any thing about them and no one that does for about the same sized machines the Bobcat was about K83k. More than I wanted to spend since it will be for personal use on my timber farm. The Kabota KXO40-3 was $78K. The Kabota KXO33was $59k. Then I went to my local Kabota dealer and I didn’t like his attitude. I asked for an out the door price on the KXO33-4 He said $71K. He didn’t look up anything. Just blurted out a price. $11k more than the first Kabota dealer and 0nly $7K less than the KXO40-3 with 6 way blade. So I started looking at other brands. Ended up with a Takeuchi TB240 with a 13”, 24” and a 36” grading bucket for $63K. It’ll be in next month.
Maybe today... Prices have started to drop again. Also economy isn't so good so they are trying to move equipment. When I bought mine you couldn't even find them, most people were waiting 2-6 months. Now my dealers got 4.
That's an awesome machine.
Looking forward to more videos with it working.
Take care friend.
Thanks

Did you buy? I’m looking at the same size in the 33 and 40 for stumps and personal land clearing.

I think the 33 only has 24hp where the 40 has 40 hp
Float is really just for back dragging unless you're on hard surfaces.
Is there any way to raise the arm rests? The controls seem set low, but the arm rests being even lower is kinda odd
Nice review & if you don’t mind asking what’s the name of the intro music
