I am so happy to see you Fixing this main switch .please I’m electrician and I need a job ,so when I see you today and I said make me ask maybe u can get some for me even I can see that you are a good electrician .please am from Ghana and I known that you will ripple me when you see this massage thank you.
As an electrician I'm crying to see that many mistakes at once
as a handyman im laughing at the video too
Ha ha ha. Sorry for home owner.
Hahaha me too😂
I have to agree.
at least he used conectors 😂

NO! Never cut it that short!! Never!
I'm curious as to why you say that?
Why please?
@@FXArts in case you need to add more breakers or replace a faulty breaker.
during such scenarios, the electrician will cut off the ends because its already weakened during installation. if the core of the wire(the copper) breaks, a small arc may occur in the wire and lead to a fire.
if a wire is short, one will have to use more connectors to extend existing wires but its not great( more point of failures)
alternative is to run a new wire(costly and time consuming)
@@eisenklad Thanks
@@FXArtsAnd this board cannot fit RCBOs because he cut the wires so short especially the blue wires (neutrals). Unlike MCBs, RCBOs need both the phase and neutral of the circuit to go in its phase and neutral terminals (output).
The cable cross-sections for the supply of the automatic circuit breakers (above) are wrong. In Germany there are 3-pin prefabricated copper bridges for this. The blue wires for the N busbar have been cut too short without any reason. There should be more reserve loop behind the circuit breaker. While the work looks good, it is technically critical.

Lol 😅
as a handyman those are the wrong wires for the switch board. good luck running more than 30amps
@@MilanTheMan69 .

And its a C10A and after that a B16, love that, short circuit failures will always trigger the C10 and you never now, which circuit it was. and all the other brakers are wired with live wire instead of all of them with the same load....
THIS VIDEO NEEDS MASS REPORTING FOR HARMFUL AND DANGEROUS ACTS!!!
Beautiful job, but:
- wire diameters are certainly not correct
- feeding the breakers by jumping wires isn't the best solution at all
- you should use wire terminals for the connections
This video is actually teaching how to set your circuit on fire. At least it's a beautiful circuit.
There are nice insulated thick coper flat rails, no chance of arcing or owerload.
Guys I'm lost. People put electrical installation videos online and there's always someone who says people put things on fire. It works though. So what are they on about? Does it work or cause fires or what? Also please don't use too many technical terms, I don't understand everything.
@@nowonmetube if a circuit pulls too much amperage, it can cause immense heating of certain gauge wires. A thicker gauge wire means more amperage.
@@nowonmetube jumping wires on a breaker is also not a great idea, buss bars a more commonly used
@@nowonmetube Add up all the amperages to the first jumperwire next to the first breaker and you will know why is not a great idea to use jumperwires…
Having 3 phase power but using only the closest phase. Totally handy to set your house on fire...
Tks for showing us the propper way to start a fire
As an electrician engineer, I'm catching fire right now.
That electric panel looks very dangerous, one thin wire to power every circuit?
Not compliant at all. DIN busbar is correct covered by a 63A main. This board is a fire 🔥 looking for a time to happen!
Maybe it's an example of how it should be layed out and connected and not about the power and amps. At the end he turns on a bunch OU lights that, being LED and at 240v, 1,5mm2 wires are plenty. Xp
Jesus, putting a board example like this online... Totally wrong.
At minimum load . No problem at all
1:53 wwooooaaah hold up there sonny Jim, did you just link all the breakers for the property in 1.5mm? Toasty 😂
He was trying to make a heater😂
@@darraghljordan3259Hi, can you please explain me this? Why si more current on the jumper near supply on the right side?
@@DavidKbsthe's putting the load of every breaker in that row through a single 1.5mm wire...
And this is why (In the UK at least) a consumer Unit has to be installed by a qualified electrician. You won’t get a installation certificate or a satisfactory EICR because this consumer unit is just a fire hazard. I don’t think an EICR has enough space to list the issues with this install. I am not yet fully qualified and I can see many issues with this install.
I'm not qualified at all and can see it's dangerous.
Jaysus you're putting some faith in them 1.5 or 2.5 singles linking your breakers 🤣
Make sure to ask to an electrician which cross section to use before DIYing, i beg all the watchers. White the edit of the video is great, the way the materials are chosen and assembled is beyond dangerous, especially in the electrical board part.
Formula for that is pretty simple, you multiply the section area of the conductor with 7 Amps/mm2 and there you have it. 10.5 Amps for 1.5 mm2 conductor, 17.5 Amps for 2.5 mm2. What goes above 4 mm2 is calculated with a different formula. But it can withold around 9KWh in continuous consumption.
@@Dobai1 I am an electrician.
This formula doesn't account for tension loss over lenght or short circuit values, which are absolutly necessary for a stable and secure installation.
While there are ways to circumvent those problems without changing the cross section of a cable, it feels safer to encourage talking to an electrician for tips especially in a comment section.
@@Ytofmayachev The biggest wire used in this distribution board looks like 2.5mm². I hope the main isolator switch has a 16A fuse otherwise this whole installation is a fire hazard. Standard is on the floor. What country is this?
9:49 There's a thing called a wood burner you can buy for cheap instead of burning your house down by messing with 120 or 240 ac or 340 ac depending where you live.
U re right, this panel simply awful
Let's just hope the input tails are covered by a 12amp breaker on this board
never use a wire to jump circuit breakers. its insane how thin the wire is which he used without thinking twice.
Fire in 3…..2…..1…..🔥
Using single wire jumpers to feed the breakers is a fire hazard as you have overloaded the wire you should be using a bus bar rated for the supply usually 100 amps
Hi. Can you expain me please why jumper on the right start fire? Why not jumper on the left?
I Am from India. I am Electrisian.
Electrical Distribution box Connections method is good but all M.C.B's incoming power wire link connect MCB's Down terminal not up Terminal. As per my knowledge.

I became electrican because electrical equipment is soooo cool :)
Only thing satisfying is it ended that music... nice clean job especially for a younger generation electrician... I'm a electrician of 25 years in America either way that's one of the cleanest panels I've seen
Please, STOP working, if you like it
Things are connected with art. Eating comes with design colour appealing and patterns. So also wiring with a design and art concept is really a job satisfaction. Self interest in any work is primary. Even in corporate they go for design and chart rather than numerical statistics report.
You lost me when you used singles for bus bar😂
Nice to see very nice BDO bro. I am trying and I will pray for everyone inshallah
The First Clip: U can run to the jail when u Do it like that. .... Normaly u use a 10qmm Phasenschiene
Since the MCBs Miniature Circuit Breakers have different rating, you could have utilized busbar to connect between them much more better. Jumper cables with the some cross sectional area are not safe.
That's a lovely job, bit confused to see all those wires tightly packed together in the conduit.
It's Alot easier than you think, he actually made many mistakes.
Why run three phase to the unit and only use one of it? Why type C breakers? These have much more stringent Zs readings to ensure they trip in time - a problem if you have long cable runs at times. Only usually required if you have high inrush situations that would cause a B type to trip too easily
Ask me anything about house wiring. Thanks and best regards
Type c is the most common in the world. As far as i know only the UK where type B is common.
It's cool, but Don cut too short ,ensure there is some allowance for maintenance in cable part, overall it's cool
Unless all of these wires are powering lights of equal load size, this would be insane to wire like that without tracing and labeling each wire. That's a lot of lights, if they are indeed all lights. Hopefully, they're all 5W led's as otherwise, you wouldn't want to have all of them on, or your bridge power feeds between the breakers will soon be all melted.
unless they are low voltage, I would never run wires underneath, a buse bare or breaker bars, if the breaker should go bad and heat up the wires are right behind them, but whatever make your movie.
I have no idea what you are doing - could be incredibly dangerous for all I know? But it looks lovely.
Süper bir model
Güzel bir video olmuş….
Complètement illégal en Europe !!!

Yes it's beautiful. but we can break our hands for this
Where to start with the oh so many mistakes made here. I’ll mention one, a very basic lesson learned on the job and in trade school. A single termination of a solid core copper wire should be folded over, especially when being terminated into such a large terminal like an MCB.

1:42 - Those repeated single brown wire bridges on top of the circuit breakers should be avoided at all cost, because the nearer the bridge to the supply spot, the more current. In a nutshell, a 1.5mm² wire supplies a dozen circuit breakers. This is insane.
I think those are 2.5mm² conductors. This is probably dutch electrics, i think i was told by some that in netherlands they use 2.5mm² conductors for both lighting and power circuits, smaller conductors are not allowed.
Hi. Can you explain me why is near the supply spot more current? Why not on the left side?
it depends on the project documentation, where the designer has specified for what output load he has designed the switchboard.
Even in Slovakia it is true that you do not design for the maximum, but for the operation that is expected.
So to say it is wrong is nonsense, if you are serious and you look at the manufacturers products, if one bridge is for 63A and another for 80A, which one would you put?
If you don't know what's in the project documentation, then to jump to conclusions that something is wrong shows more likely that you have no idea what you're talking about and are just a "screwdriver user" and not an electrician ;)
Cables are not long enough, should allow much more for re-termination amongst other faults!! 😮
Superb........
