- This is a demo of the Erica Synths Zen Delay.
Initially, it has been designed for synthesizer players. But it is absolutely recommendable for guitarists.

Incredible delay, surprisingly works very well for the guitar with every knob you could ask for in a delay pedal and more with endless possibilities . Very musical although it colors the guitar tone but in a very beautiful way. I have been waiting for this demo since the announcement of this delay. Great work dude!
Bravo! An adept application with electric guitar was sorely needed. Thanks!
Thank you for such a wonderful demo.
Thanks for this! Been wanting to hear with guitar, sounds great.
That´s stunning! This vid sold me on the zen delay. thnx dude!
thank you for awesome demo i like this delay so much IMHO sound is cool for me.
some really beautiful moments
Awesome man - thanks for putting that together.
I've been keeping an eye out for a Guitar demo with this device.
Have you attempted any of the midi/ctrl features yet?
I'd be thinking to use that with an expression pedal to access resonance etc..
Assuming all features are accessible via midi?
I have never been so captivated by a delay (and I've owned all of the big box delay pedals)... this thing is amazing! My two wishes for it would be modulation control (with rate/depth and waveform) and a multi-head echorec-like mode.
Excellent demo! It would be great to see how it would sound with a chorus of vibrato in the loops
What an awesome sounding delay. Looking forward to trying one in person. Lo if filter and tube saturation make it seem like a great tape delay emulation option. Thanks for sharing!
love it!
How did you hook up the guitar to the delay? Did you plug it in directly into the delay or like this: guitar -> (pre)amp or something -> delay ?? Thanks. Cool Demo ;)
Sounds really cool! If it had footswitches, digital patches and an expression pedal....
It does have expression pedal input.
@@hoover728 CRTL-in is just a bypass/Tap input connection to get your hands free for guitars.
I would be sold on this and buy one today if they made it for guitarist in a stombox model!🤘😁
You can attach a pedal to it
fuck that sounds increds
Can you tap tempo this
Yes, you can.
What is the purpose of that tube? To add extra $200 value?
It works much better with line level signal, the Zen delay really is designed to be used with synths first and foremost
Well Alexander that tube adds warmth and definition to the effects giving them a more rounded and organic feel... in other words adding color and breathing life into an inanimate object. Oh and speaking of tubes where are you purchasing your preamp tubes? Because anyone paying $200 for a tube is absolutely clueless to gear accessories!🤘😁
@@Honking_Goose not sure that is true. I was understanding that It was developed with Ninja tune as a dub/effects for turn tables….
Which would still be line level since you go through a mixer first
Love the layout/function and sounds! But alas, I thought the era of gimmicky tubes in stuff was behind us...
It’s not a gimmicky tube, it sounds lush as fuck lol
I don’t see the difference between this and other expensive delay pedals other than it takes up a lot more space
