I bought this phone and am super happy with it. I don't zoom so I don't care about telephoto or whatever. Great pictures, battery life, amazing screen, only play wild rift so doesn't overheat either and the charger is a game changer for me. Feels premium and worth the price. Changed it from my trusty OnePlus 7. Honestly colorOS feels like home and I even prefer it now to oxygen os. My road so far was iphones, samsung s7 edge, google pixel, OnePlus and now oppo.

@@adnankamal9 It is really hard for me to give you my battery experience. For example I don't like 5g so I turn it off. I'm all over the place. I have days where sot is only 4h when I play wild rift at home, watch anime on crunchyroll app which drains battery like crazy. Other days I have 6h with mixed usage. The biggest battery killer so far is google auto. That one killed 50 percent in 2hours while driving. When I go to work and I use it lightly (mostly web browsing) from 6:30 am till 10pm I come back with 25%. Overnight when I sleep standby is like around 6%. In my opinion you wont get a good battery if you use 120hz screen with high brightness no matter the phone except maybe iphone pro max. I had 3 updates with security, bug fixes and camera improvements so far. So its like monthly I guess. I actually don't want constant updates. Hope this helps.
there should be a comparison with last year's x3 pro to see if the new image signaling processor really improved image quality, from what I saw so far, upgrades are minimal
Its more the opposite in HDR situation. Find X5 Pro has huge issues in backlit situations and fails constantly. The find x3 pro is a lot better in those situations.

I bought a find x5 pro about a month ago and while it's definitely the best phone I've ever had, there is one thing that I absolutely hate about it. The refresh rate only goes up to 120Hz in certain apps. The worst part about it is that it won't go up to 120Hz in any games I've tested so far. This means that no matter how much power the phone has, you'll never be able to play games at more than 60fps. I did find a "bug" while testing Real Racing 3. The refresh rate was again capped at 60Hz, but whenever I was tapping on the right edge of the screen it would go up to 120Hz and the fps would also increase to 120 fps. After some research I've found that this is specifically coded into ColorOS and the newer versions of OxygenOS. There are also some developers working on a fix and I hope they manage to do something about it

Hey Will, I was wondering what phone you think is the better pick between the Oppo Find X5 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S22 +? Both phones (256gb) come in at the same price at the time of writing. My priorities are: Display, Camera, Battery, & Software support. I'm not worried about: Gaming/heating & speakers quality.
@ericty6494 oppo have similar edge functionality. Camera works wonderful. The only thing i miss from samsung is my connectivity with all my samsung accessories. I can still connect on my oppo but it does not as seamless as the samsung phone.
Still considering as to whether should I upgrade to this, but currently I am using the Find X2 PRO i still feel the phone features is still up to mark even though it's already 2 years old.
OPPO is the only Chinese phone Co that i liked. Their phones are very super durable. Lower IP68 also had no problem. But after 1 year, their system slightly tends to lag that I noticed. To me, they're still a Dark Horse on phone industry! 🙂👍🏼

Bought it 2 weeks ago. Amazing phone. In the recent past I had S21U, pixel 6, iphone 13 and 13 pro max. And I can say the X5 is a complete package minus the zoom camera, but I will keep it and it will be my main phone for now. Speakers, camera, battery, built quality, screen, processor, everything is an upgrade compared to the last model. I had X3 pro and X2 pro btw. Night mode is crazy, not only very clear but takes a second to snap a photo compared to other phones that might need 2-5 seconds. Speakers are very important for me as well and they are lound and clear, big upgrade vs X3 pro. Battery life is good, I get 7-8 hours SOT. Charging is fast, I dont use the 80w cause I dont wanna put strain on the battery. I use 25W samsung charger and the LED display on the cable shows me it charges PD at 16W. Phone is compatible with PD and QC. Also imo ColorOS is one of the best OS out there. Fast with plenty features and customizations. Any questions please ask.

I had an X3 Pro for a while, it was an altogether very likeable phone apart from the fact it would get very hot under even light usage. Looking at this X5 Pro, I'm underwhelmed. There's no reason to get one over the X3 Pro.

About nits. In many other news-informations I saw that this phone have 800 nits or 1300 in peak. But besidee that, this phone is great. Unique design, really first white phone that I like.
I noticed on my oppo find X3 pro that you can achieve max brightness only when you use auto brightness and you are surounded by strong lights.With that option enabled, the phone is very lizible in direct sun light.
Keep in mind that an Find X5 Pro plus or ultra is on its way with a periscope zoom lense. Makes it a hard buy for that money. Many third party apps only 60hz too.
UA-cam, Google Photos, TikTok and all Time Keyboard is in use only 60hz. No tester notice. Typing or scrolling is like stuttering. There are Brands where all this is 120hz. Front cam much to bright

I noticed on my oppo find X3 pro that you can achieve max brightness only when you use auto brightness and you are surounded by strong lights.With that option enabled, the phone is very lizible in direct sun light.

UA-cam, Google Photos, TikTok and all Time Keyboard is in use only 60hz. No tester notice. Typing or scrolling is like stuttering. There are Brands where all this is 120hz. Front cam much to bright
