WHAT A SHOT. OH MY GOODNESS!
Way to go, Noah! i’m always appreciated your humble attitude. I live up the Wishkah, north of Aberdeen on the West Coast of Washington. Born & Raised is the only group of hunters that does what we do on the West Coast. I enjoyed angry Spike when they were like you brothers and friends just going out and doing it and video it. The way you and Chase, use the camera makes everything so special. I never miss a video, but I seldom leave a post. I appreciate all that you guys do for us guys on the West Coast. Before you and angry Spike, nobody knew how hard it was telling Elk and Bear and deer on the West Coast.
Did I just see a nice black bear run out the unit when there looked away(3:24) at there feet.😊 Awesome hunt congrats
Yup, looked like it
I saw that too. I bet they didn't see it
I saw that too. Thought it was a strap on his pack or something at first.
I saw that and went straight to the comments to see who else saw it lol
You sure did. I was about to say the same thing.
Congratulations Noah and Chase, that stalk was awesome in that steep logging debris and then an 88 yard shot that was on the money. Great way to end a three year quest.
Way to be persistent Noah! It is not easy to stalk in our Oregon coastal range, especially through that slash they leave behind. I've been watching all the born & raised spring bear videos, & I remember you carrying your bow couple yrs back & I thought "Now that's cool, he's up for the real challenge", and here you are completing your goal. Congrats bro!!🎉
Congrats, Noah. Loved it and the fact that you stayed true to yourself on the use of a bow is, well, awe inspiring. The story was also so well told and just made us feel a part of it. Keep it up and can.t wait for the next goal or story that you choose to bring to us.
I don’t spend much time or effort spring bear hunting. My priority is with a bow. At 75 not near as agile. Has not come together, yet. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
Congratulations. Definitely shows how hard it is to get it done. Well worth the adventure. Great job.
Great job Noah way to keep with it. Congrats on a great bear
Congrats on a great hunt. I really enjoyed this episode, more relatable to an eastern woods hunter than the usual gang up on them method of this crew, much more personal. Looking forward to Trent and Steve's pistol and ML hunts, and really enjoyed Trent's ML elk hunt.
Congrats on getting it done!
The smile on Noah's face at 4:54 when the bear spooked is what archery hunting is all about.
Great job Noah! Love what you guys are doing and really enjoy all the videos.
Love that you did it with the bow, but man you got lucky! If that bear had not moved after the shot, it would have been a miss. He stepped 2-3 feet to the left and right into your arrow. That's why no matter how good you are on the range, at that distance they can move so much after the shot. Especially on an alert animal.
Congratulations Noah on accomplishing your goal. It’s one thing to get it done with bow. It’s another to get it on film with that kind of footage. Nice work Chase way to be on his shoulder.
Chase did a great job capturing it!
Nice shot but I don't like that yall have started telling the story of the hunt over the video instead of just letting the video tell the story like before but other wise I live you guys and never miss a video. I hope to one day get a chance to meet you guys. Good luck this spring.
Dang, good job Noah never killed the bear. It’s on my to do list to get one.
Congratulations Noah! Nice work! 88 yards is a far shot! 👏🏼🙌🏼💪🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🔥
That’s absolutely outstanding. Congratulations on achieving your goal of limiting yourself to archery 🏹 and getting it done out there. Quite the impressive long shot ability especially on the second shot. I am happy for you.
Definitely a goal of mine to get a bear 🐻 with a bow 🏹
Nice shot Noah!!! Way to stick with it through the last few years. Congrats!!!
Great story/ video! (As always!) Way to keep after it and not give up till you met your goal!
👍 great job Noah!
Spot & stalk Looked much tougher than shooting over a bait barrell. Congrats!
Thank you for taking us along .
Congrats Noah. Thanks for taking me along.
Nice work Noah, fantastic shot, that was a poke.
Well worth the wait Noah! Love the content! Thanks for sharing
Awesome job! This will be year 3 for me trying for a mule deer with my bow. Hopefully, I have the same success. I'm sure going to give it hell trying!
Awesome hunt and you got lucky he ran uphill. I’ve been fortunate to get a bear spot and stalk the last 2 fall seasons with a bow
Epic Noah! Congrats! Time and patience brother.
Awesome job Noah way to keep after it. Awesome to watch it all come together.
Goals are great to have and glad you took us along when you got it done
One of the best archery shots I’ve seen on UA-cam. Great job Noah!
Noah, You paid your dues and what an awesome reward. Thanks for everything you brought to the team and the sprit of Born & Raised.
Hell of a job Noah. Sticking with it, setting a goal to challenge yourself and getting it done. And way to keep your composure and make the second shot!
Congrats Noah! Awesome story.
Congrats Noah!!! Way to get it done!
Making a dream a reality! Great job!
Awesome! Great hunt.
I have nothing against the long range rifle stuff, if equipped and able, but just not my jam. This on the other hand I can watch all day and every day! Congratulations Noah on setting a goal and sticking to it, for 3 years no less! Awesome hunt on a great trophy guys!
Congrats Noah. I have taken 1 with a bow- presented itself while archery elk hunting many years ago.
Way to go Noah, quite the accomplishment. Ty for the great experience and dedication you put forth. You are a great hunter as well as a great camera guy. Mike from Grant Pass
Thanks Mike!
Congratulations Noah ! That was a bit nerve recking when you were sneaking in on him! Great story ! Great job capturing it Chase!
Congratulations man that was awesome!🇺🇸🐻🏹
That was outstanding, guys! I especially enjoyed the camera POV behind you & the cameraman. It gives viewers a perspective on just how challenging the hunt is while filming. Additionally, it felt like the viewer was on the hunt with you. Don't let some social media marketing organizations suggest you slick it up and make it more sales/marketing worthy because that's BS. Keepmit real! My only question is, what's up with hunting in tennis shoes?
Heck yeah man, congrats! Love the challenge!
Great job. Great shot. Congrats.
My goal for this year! Awesome video!
Well said bud the one thing I love about you guys and your hunting heart keep the horn and raised fam always going
What a fantastic second shot! That was perfect, especially for that distance! It seemed to take so long to hear that shwack!
I really enjoyed hearing the story of setting the goal, seeing the persistence, and seeing the commitment to the method. IDK if I **PERSONALLY** would have taken a bear that size, but it's not my tag, and it clearly made Noah happy, and that's all that matters! Congrats on a GREAT hunt Noah, and on meeting your goal!
Thanks!
Great job.. Noah👍👍👍
Awesome accomplishment . Keep up the great content . Love your channel
Not only spot-n-stalk in a clear cut, but you also had a camera man. Congrats!
Congrats, awesome achievement!
Congrats Noah!
Way cool good job. You set a goal and got it done. I hope you are proud of yourself. Great video.
Awesome! Congrats
Good job Noah!
Great Job I began challenging myself in 2019 started hunting quite a lot with iron site’s on a 30-30 for whitetail in NY. And recurve or long bow. Have enjoyed success with both but the traditional archery has been challenging and rewarding thumbs up on having the patience and dedication to get it done. To God be the Glory!!
Awesome hunt Noah! That was some great video work to Chase, way to capture the struggle.😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
Great content solid bunch of guys
Hell yah! Thats awesome congrats
Hey Noah congrats man, incredible shot dude, as a guy that lives in Oregon I completely understand that spot & stalk,, nothing easy about it .. congrats again .. video was killer!

big respect from england graet shot
That’s what up! 🤙🏽🏹
Good job
Didnt go 20. Great shot Noah
At the risk of sounding like a hater (I’m familiar with the incredibly high degree of difficulty involved in trying to slip down off a landing and get in close on an animal where it’s steep, uneven, and everything cracks underfoot), I want to pose some questions:
What killed that bear? Your woodsmanship/stalking abilities, or the monumental advances in archery technology? Does a bowhunter in the 80s, 90s, even early 2000s, kill that bear?
I don’t want to minimize the effort put forth, you guys look over more bears in a single spring then I’ll probably see in my lifetime. But to put in all that work, all those stalks, come so close, and then settle for letting one rip at a range that in the not-too-distant past would have been reserved only for firearms - it just feels like answering 99% of a test from memory only to look over your classmate’s shoulder for the answer to the final question.
I appreciate Noah’s commitment to the bow, and I think his decision to use it needs absolutely no explaining, no justifying. I just would’ve loved to have seen him say, “okay, the bear won this time, on to the next.” And then end this story with a shot measured in feet, not yards, because he continued to bust his tail and believed it could be done. I think deep down that’s what any bowhunter lives for.
Great job on the bow bear 🐻 congratulations.
One thing that I’ve noticed on a few videos is you don’t really show the animal much after you have walked up to it, for instance this bear we only seen a still photo as the you tube credit popped up on the screen, so if you guys can video the bear layed out or lifting it up etc same as some elk that would be awesome as, as us international guys 🇦🇺, don’t see these animals here so a better look once you walk up to them would be awesome, all your videos are great so this is just a tiny think, thanks heaps keep safe 👍👌
HONEY WAKE UP!!!!!!! BARO POSTED
Luckily that bear took a step before the arrow got there.. he doesn't move that shot is a foot left . The first shot is a good example of not fully relying on your electronics and going old school with in field yardage estimation.
Don't need the whole story for justifying using a bow, it's something that you wanted to do is all the explanation you needed. Cool video
As a western hunter you have to shoot long distances.
Elk, moose even muleys.
But a bear it's just to far for me. To much can go wrong.
Enjoyed the hunt.
O so Noah gets set up on a bow bear but Derek Wolfe Super Bowl champion has to use a gun? I’m kidding great job Noah you earned it man. Way to stick with it.
Congratulations, great job showing how hard it is to stalk in a so called "clear cut". The west coast range of the PNW is steeper ,thicker and wetter then any other place I have hunted. I'm just glad the mosquitoes and ticks aren't as bad in the fall as they are in the spring. What broad head were you using, I'm looking for a good cut on contact that flies well?
This was an iron will single bevel 125. I was impressed with its performance.
LETS GOOOO
Those cost cuts are so loud!
👏👏👏👏👏👊
What broadhead did you shoot that bear with?
Great job! Way to stick with it and not grab a rifle.
If you want to make it hard as it can be...GO TRADITIONAL...also sows arre the best eating bears hands down.
Im not so sure why everyone thinks you guys are so great i feel like the Pacific Northwest can be represented better than what you guys are doing. There are alot of better hunters than you guys around here.
