Not sure if you will see this but I wanted to tell you that I ordered 2 duvet inserts and a duvet cover BECAUSE OF YOU. I double stuffed it to make it look thick and cozy. You mentioned this a long while ago. You were definitely still living in the old home and you were cleaning up your master bedroom. It has been a struggle stuffing 2 inserts in there, but I love the result. I believe in having a cozy bedroom ALL YEAR ROUND. I have soft lamp lighting and an electric fireplace with black out curtains so we can enjoy it at any time of the day (you never know what time you need to unwind). Love watching your videos. Great inspiration and clean motivation.

Last year I started your tradition of ribbons around the curtains and I love it. These year I wanted to add a little bit of black into my decor, so I added a thinner black velvet ribbon in the center of the red plaid and I love how it turned out. It really pulls in the black from my industrial curtain rods.
I live in South Dakota and very near the Black Hills which are so beautiful! Today it will be around 40 degrees and sunny. We had snow last week and it was much colder, but most of that snow has disappeared thanks to a warmup. It is very common here to have rollercoaster temperatures, so you take each day as it comes! Your house is coming together beautifully!

I always laugh a tiny bit when you talk about it being cold in Napa. I know it is different when you’ve grown up in a warmer climate but I’m Canadian so we’re working with negative temperatures in the dead of winter. I hope you’re settling in and feeling more like home with the Christmas decor!
We live in Utah... 4 very distinct seasons. Right now a little snow on the ground temps in the teens at night . 30's and 40's daytime. more snow next week. We have been dressed in winter wear since early Sept. really enjoy all of your videos.

Minot North Dakota ...we are actually having a heat wave of around 40 degrees here this wee lol.. Next week it will go back down. Yikes not ready however we have about 5 to 6 months of winter weather which is sooo depressing. I dont mind 4 seasons just which are winters werent so long and cold.
