Thought for sure that Dipal was going to comment on the lead singer...lol. She is a real keeper Beardo. Fun reaction listening to you two and the conversation between you.
Also check these by Danzig: 1. Killer Wolf. 2. Possession. 3. End of Time. 4. Heart of the Devil. 5. Godless. 6. Am I Demon. 7. Soul on Fire. 8. Girl. 9. Snakes of Christ. Also continue exploring the Danzig discography.
Back in the late 1980s, Tipper Gore -- the wife of then U.S. Senator (and eventual vice president) -- and a bunch of other "Washington Wives" decided to get upset about some of the content of the lyrics in hard rock and heavy metal music, as well as the (to Washington Wives) alien viewpoints and life-experiences expressed in the then-emerging genre of rap/hip-hop. They formed the "Parent Music Resource Council" (PMRC) and advocated the use of labels to identify records that had song lyrics that had "violent, drug-related or sexual themes," as a way for parents to "monitor" the music their children heard. As one might predict, a lot of musicians -- including many Gore and her colleagues did *not* expect -- voiced unexpectedly articulate objections to the idea. Others, such as Glenn Danzig, responded to the PMRC's efforts with songs deliberately written to point out the foolishness of the effort and how ill-conceived was the entire concept: "Mother Tell your children not to walk my way Tell your children not to hear my words What they mean, what they say, mother Mother! Can you keep them in the dark for life? Can you hide them from the waiting world? Oh mother!"
I've worked with a lot of Indians and I'd never seen the side-to-side head bob thing. Then about 2 years ago I got a job where a ton of the developers and engineers were Indian and it was just a regular thing and I was like "where did this come from?" cuz none of the other Indians I'd worked with had done it before. I think someone told me it was a regional thing? dunno for sure.
Yes there was a lot of rage.😂😂😂😂 It's a song about censorship. In Christianity when somebody is lost, we say you need to find the light. Danzig said "I'm not about to see your light, but if you want to find hell with me I can show you what it's like."
