    I searched every where on how to load backing tracks onto the unit. it took hours to work out as the information for the "Stereo" version was no where on the internet.
    First convert backing track to 44100hz - 32 bit - stereo (doesn't work in mono). You know if it has been successful due to the track number on the display will turn from blue to red. I am using it for a backing track player with a simple cc midi pedal. it works really well, however don't forget to save any changes to volume, one shot etc by pressing the save button twice when prompted on the pedal, this allows you to get all the backing track volumes the same level.

      how did you connect midi?? 2 types a and b??

      @@bryancrowe2123 With the pedal comes a 5 pin standard midi adapter which plugs into the marked pedal socket This allows you to use a standard midi lead, however if you midi controller as 1/8" socket then a 1/8" to 1/8" standard stereo lead will work. Please remember this pedal only accepts CC (Control Commands) commands, not PC (Program Change) . I use a Hotone midi controller with is cheap and works well. I have used this for my backing tracks for the last 3 or 4 weeks and it works well and sounds good. No issues at all

    There was a great lack of just such an alternative to the BOSS RC 5 on the market. I have been using NUX products, previously the MG300, now the MG30.
    I am looking forward to the CORE 2 GEN or CORE DELUXE 2 GEN version.
    I admire NUX's track record and rapid capture of the market with great products.
    Keep going :)

    Really glad you ran through the drums. This has one feature I've been looking for, the ability to output the drums to a separate amp. All good, but I don't like the drums at all on this. The circle looper has far better-sounding drums, but I'd rather have the ease of control of this, and the smaller size and ability to output the drums to a full-spectrum amp. Wish they'd done better on the drums. They seem to use the identical snare on the majority of them.

    • @PedalExperiments
      @PedalExperiments  10 місяців тому +3

      I know what you mean. I do kinda wish the drums were a bit better, especially the cymbals. However, I would recommend placing a reverb with a tone control (or even a seperate EQ pedal) between the drums' output and your amp. That way, you can shape the tone of the drums as well as making them sound more natural with the added ambience.

    • @sundaynightdrunk
      @sundaynightdrunk 10 місяців тому +2

      @@PedalExperiments That would definitely make them sound a bit better, but that same snare they use so much is always going to annoy me! I was spoiled by Boss drums, which use many kits and sound great, but you have buy the expensive ones to get discrete output on the drums.

    Hi may you clarify me about Nux Loop Core Stereo?
    1. Does it quantize?
    2. Does it automatically processes the tempo of a loop to match a drum pattern like the previous models?
    3. I want to put it at the end of my pedalboard, which as already an amp/cab simulation, and listen from the headphone output. Will I get a faithful recreation of the sound of my pedalboard or maybe colored?
    Thank you so much

    This looks awesome!
    As if my phone doesnt even have a headphone jack and this does 😐
    What a great feature for a looper though, along with everything else.

    Hey guys - I've got a question regarding MIDI in New Loop Core Stereo.
    I'm using M-VAVE Chocolate MIDI controller that is connected to Loop Core with a simple STEREO-STEREO Jack. It works, activates the REC and STOP functions or anything depending on how I program it in the APP. But I'm not satisfied with the loop length of the NUX pedal.
    Every time I hit the MIDI footswitch the NUX makes a little pause before it starts recording (some milliseconds but it's enough to skip the attack of the first note).
    After I hit STOP it could also make a tiny pause and in the end I got a loop which sounds jerkily. It can't quantize as good as an old Digitech Jamman which plays everything seamlessly. And you can't get used to it, so every loop could be a bit off timing...
    I've updated the fw but it doesn't seem to help
    Is it just me or it's a common problem? Any thoughts are appreciated.

    I agree the drums still sound like 15yo drum machines with the built in patterns from the 80s.
    Question: can you free form play a new loop without drums then have the pedal add drums based on your tempo. I want to be able to jam a little, then kick in a beat.

    • @PedalExperiments
      @PedalExperiments  11 місяців тому +2

      No, but you can turn the drums on/off via the far-left button. You have to manually push it, though.

    Im not interested in the drum machine side of the pedal, so what is your opinion on this looper? Do you recommend me another loop with no drums? Thx in advance

    • @PedalExperiments
      @PedalExperiments  Рік тому +1

      I think it works really well without the drums, especially with the different triggering options for starting and ending your loop.
      If you don't plan on using the drums and just want a really good, basic looper, it's hard to beat the TC Electronic Ditto.
      I also hear good things about the EHX 360 and 720 loopers.

    Does the new NUX Loop Core Stereo Looper work with the NUX NMP-2 Dual Foot Switch? This would improve the versatility and ease of use for this new looper. The original NUX Loop Core does work with the NMP-2 footswitch, but I don't see a CTRL IN input to attach an external dual foot switch to this new stereo looper in the photos.

      Not but it has a midi in port in which you can connect for instance a midi controler pedal as the m-wave chocolate, providing more buttons and configuration options.

    Sorry I have a question ❓ how to turn off the pedal? Should I just cut off the power???!

    • @PedalExperiments
      @PedalExperiments  15 днів тому +1

      Just double-tap the footswitch to stop the loop, and long-press it to wipe the loop clear.
      The pedal itself will remain on as long as it's plugged in.

    Pretty decent review, thanks. I’m still looking to find a step by step instruction, review for a newbie. I’m old school guy from the 70’s when I plugged into a Marshall with my Strat and 2 pedals and played to records or with my buds…Now being just a bit older, it’s a bit different now, and much harder to get together with others to play. Im looking for a drum machine and or a drum pedal or something like the Nux, that’s not to difficult for this old brain….this pedal looks like it might be the one, but when I read the User guide, well, it’s pretty bad….! Stay young y’all, music helps you do that…✌️🎸
