Arms or no arms, the mental toughness of this young man was staggering. I would not have made the cut.

I have always enjoyed Dave’s interviews with veterans - and his willingness to use his platform to uplift their stories. He seems to find the perfect balance of allowing them to tell their story in their own words, honouring their sacrifice, and getting to know them as people. No pity. No manipulation. No hero worship. No hidden agenda or politics. It always seemed as though the veterans appreciated his approach.

That man is a hero. He did what he could to help the USA. I'm glad that he was able to get back on track. Thanks for letting him tell his story, Dave!

I hope he's doing well and has joy and peace. Dave shows a lot of compassion and kindness to people who've been through it (as opposed to say, he and Dr. Phil mocking each other) and I think it helps to hear a voice of care for others too. Some people go through hells and don't hear any positive messages. It helps to know people exist who care.

Been watching you since your morning show and remember this guest... what a fortunate young man, to say the least! I say fortunate because if he were lucky, he would have won the lottery lol... We miss You, Paul and the whole crew. Though, looks like retirement has been good to you, but luv seeing you guys on Bab's show..! Always wishing everyone the best ✌️💚

If this gentleman and his doctor are still alive and well, Dave should have an interview with him/them here on this channel. Who else would like to see that?

An American Hero who fought for our freedoms and paid a huge cost. We should give him all he needs for the rest of his life and he should have these politicians who are at fault be his servants.

What an amazing, positive individual. If that happended to me I cannot imagine handling it as well as he did at that time. He could have found a doctor to say he had ‘bone spurs’ to avoid serving, like a recent ex-President did, but he wanted to be in the military to serve our country, and sacrificed a lot for us. Bless him and all our current and former military personnel for their bravery and commitment.

There are so many paradoxes with this story, but all of these are overshadowed by this Man’s personal courage , and how that was somehow aided by medical advancements, that we are expecting will only get better, with the integration of ai and other systems. Hopefully deployed to save lives rather than take them.
There are so many ways to put so many different people on a constructive path, but it’s typically stigma that gets in the way.

These interviews with veterans are always so incredibly moving. I understand why, but it's too bad Sgt. Marrocco wasn't able to be wheeled out for his intro instead of already there, because I think he would have received a much more thunderous ovation. What an incredibly poised man. Thanks for posting this.
