wtf?
There is Indiana Jones 5 coming out next year, I think in June or July 2023 might be Harrison Fords last movie he ever does, not positive on that.
The actor playing Young Indy was River Phoenix. Sadly he died of a drug overdose in 1993. He was only 23. His younger brother is Joaquin Phoenix.
Just a kid, huge money but some bad homies, ain't possible for me to imagine the lifestlyle and leaving life at that age, then again 'am half Mexican and half Britt born and bred in Yucatán,its like Yaving 4 compared to Corucsant.
Cheers y'all!
Wow did not know that. What a sad fate
He died in front of Johnny Depps club while Joaquin Phoenix watched.
@@jessereyna6662 Juoaquin is the one that called 911
The reason he was so good playing young Indy in this movie is that he played Harrison Ford's son in the movie "The Mosquito Coast," and had fun on set imitating Ford.
RIP, Sean Connery.
Also this is the ultimate Father and Son Story.
The film was a box office and critical success, making $474 million dollars against a $60 million dollar budget and won the Oscar for Best Sound Editing.
This movie should be the perfect on how Hollywood should end a film trilogy.
And Back to the Future.
Never forget those ones.
The chemistry between Sean Connery and Harrison Ford is what makes this film special. Fucking love it
Still my favorite Indiana Jones movie!
You are looking lovely today! GOD bless!
Fun fact:
The actor who played "Young Indiana Jones" is River Phoenix, the brother of Joaquin Phoenix (who you might remember as Commodus from the movie Gladiator).
Unfortunately, River died in 1993 from a drug overdose aged 23.
"No, getting his father to a hospital is the only thing that will save him now"
Exactly how close do you think they are to a hospital? How quickly do you think they'd be able to get there on horse back? LOL
My favorite line in the movie "He chose.. poorly" 🤣 Love that although fictional, the first and this third installment revolve around a very real subject matter. It's possible what happened in those films could really go down. The Ark of the Covenant from the first IJ was made as it's described in the bible! Gabby.. you chose wisely💗✝
The different between Elsa, Indy, Henry (Indy's dad) and Donovan is the reason why they seek the Grail :
Donovan wanted it for its power, he wanted to become immortal
Elsa wanted it for the glory, she wanted to Grail to show it off
Henry (Indy's Father) was more interested in the quest ot find the Grail than in the Grail itself
Indy wanted it to save his father
Love how you dress up for all your reviews 😂
It's never addressed in the movie but the guy who dresses like Indy at the start of the movie and gives him his hat was in an earlier draft of the script meant to be Abner Ravenwood, who in the first movie is explained was Indy's mentor and Marion's father.
Girl you look so cool in that outfit! I love it.
Thank you!
The actor who played Donovan also played General Veers in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. He was the one leading the assault on the rebel base on the ice world Hoth... He was also in the Bond film For Your Eyes Only...
And Game of Thrones as Grand Maester Pycelle.
15:18 "Wait, has Indiana ever killed people before?"
A man swung his giant sword around and Indy pulled out his gun and shot him. Right in the middle of the marketplace, in front of hundreds of onlookers.
Yeah, he's got a few confirmed kills.
If you liked Sean Connery's character in this movie, then I highly HIGHLY recommend watching Highlander. Its just a great movie with a great soundtrack.
great villain too!
I LOVED that song, Who Wants to Live Forever
Yeah, A Scotsman playing a Spaniard and a Frenchman playing a Scotsman, who'd have thunk it? lol
Really? But you can clearly see the strings! :o
River Phoenix is Young Indy. Would have taken Hollywood by storm had he not passed.
He'd also previously played Harrison Ford's son in Mosquito Coast, and would go on to do Sneakers, My Own Private Idaho (where he became bust friends with Keanu Reeves) and plenty of other things before he sadly passed away. He was also going to be in Interview with the Vampire, but died before filming, so the part of the interviewer went to Christian Slater instead.
We need a "Huh? What? Huh?" counter. Wonderful reaction.
Just in case anybody was wondering why the lighter didn’t get blown out when daddy jones tried, that’s a Zippo lighter, basically storm proof because of its construction and flame sustaining design.
I know there are probably a few who might not know, just like I did when I was a kid first watching it.
The character that gave Indiana the hat when Indy was a kid is supposed Abner Ravenwood, Marion’s father.
I love how there's basically an Indiana Jones who hands the torch off to him and gives him his hat out of respect. Well I like to think he was a good guy.
"If this series was intended to be a trilogy, this would've been the perfect way to end Indiana's story."
Well, it was, for almost two decades.
Still is, as far as most are concerned 😉
Such an overlooked move. It's one of the most entertaining movies ever.
Overlooked? I don't think so.
You don't think so?. In recent years not many people mention it.
Truly a gem.
@@andreabindolini7452 to older audiences it is not.
@@juanforrester2283 This is widely regarded as the best along with Raiders.
4:45 He's done Doctor Who, his most well known role was the episode "City of Death".
This was my Indiana Jones movie growing up :3 can't wait to see you get into it ^_^
Yea!!!!!!! A new reaction...and it's to one of my favorite movies from one of my favorite franchises!!!
- 1:00 - Good call on the casting of Young Indy. River Phoenix (older brother of Joaquin) was a major talent who died too young. He did a film before this called 'The Mosquito Coast' with Harrison Ford, playing Ford's son. He had a long film shoot to get Harrison's mannerisms down, as he kinda used some of them as his son in the other film. There would later be a TV series, 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' where Sean Patrick Flannery would play Indy.
- 4:45 - Walter Donovan is played by Julian Glover. Glover has a history of geek culture projects...like Imperial General Veers in 'Star Wars - Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back', Aristotle Kristatos in the James Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only', and Grand Maester Pycelle in 'Game of Thrones'.
- One of the inspirations for Indiana Jones, from Steven Spielberg's side, was James Bond. When George Lucas and Spielberg were brainstorming the character, Spielberg was hoping that one day he would be tapped to direct a James Bond film. This, of course, never happened. In casting Sir Sean Connery as Professor Henry Jones, the homage was complete...as Connery was the original 007 for six films in the official canon (from 1962 to 1971) and one outside the canon (in 1983). Ironically, Connery was only 10 years older than Ford. They did become quite good friends until Connery passed in 2020.
- Both Connery and Denholm Elliott (Marcus Brody) have homages paid to them in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystl Skull', as both actors had passed or retired when it was made. I enjoyed it, even though many people do not care for it. So, if you decide to watch the next one...I'm definitely here for it! ICYMI, Harrison is working on 'Indy 5' right now...it was teased at Star Wars Celebration 2022 back in May.
Personally, this one is my favorite of the Indy films. It came out when I was in high school, and I was dreaming of being an actor. Two of my "idols" were Ford and Connery, so seeing them in the same movie together, and seeing the amazing chemistry they had is one of the more important reasons I love this one.
Thanks!!!
17:10 The man got lost in his own museum. He's the Gilligan of the 1930's.
This is the final film of the original trilogy (1981,1984,1989). The fourth film didn't come until much later in 2008, and the fifth is due to come out in 2023.
GIRL!!! Your outfits are always on point 🙏❤️🙏 this is my favorite out of the 4 Indy movies
Thank you!
The classic fist punching sound 👊 that sounds like a whipping explosion
15.13. Young Indiania Jones fill in backstory, as a young child, and his teen age years including service in the Belgian army and Intellegence corps,1914-1918. WW 1 vet.
Always a fun reaction and you look ready for an adventure in your fedora.
Great reaction as always. And btw, the actor who plays young Indiana Jones is River Phoenix. River was a very critically acclaimed talented up-and-coming actor in Hollywood, who many believed was going to be one of the Hollywood greats. He was actually best friends with Keanu Reeves also, and his brother is actor Joachim Phoenix Anyway, River Phoenix's life was suddenly cut short back around 1993 from a drug overdose.
Also, the actor who plays his father is the great Sean Connery...the #1 actor who played James Bond during the 1960s and 1970s, and one or two Bond films in the 1980s, among numerous other notable roles that he played. Sean Connery only just recently passed away a couple years ago in 2020.
My favorite Indy.Such a mystique to it i really enjoy.
Please bring back the dreads.
Love the outfit!
"All I have to do is squeeze" - "All I have to do is scream". Can't do that Elsa
The Crystal Skull isn't a great one but just watching her react would make it worth while. She could react to anything! I'm 1000% onboard! 😉
I can't wait for Jones 5 coming out next year! Karen Allen aka Marian Jones is possible back in this new movie. It is reported that Jones 5 will be last music composed by John Williams because he is retiring. John is 90!
I skipped her reaction to the second and did not expect her to pick that as her fav. The other two fit together well. The second being a prequel mighta been better if we did see it first? Crystal Skull goes a bit over the top but lot of movies do that trying to one up all the previous movies. More bigger explosions can work if you plan on doing another one after it but for an ending I think people wanna know more about the characters they love. Which is why this is a good ending to the series. Maybe Jones 5 will dive into the characters but what more can they do? As for the razzle-dazzle they already had him survive a nuke. Well off to see why she loves the second one more.
HEy Girl, I see you loved how they delved into the adventures of a young Indiana Jones aka River Phoniex. The origins of many of the Indy traits, predilections, and phobias are on full display in this amazing intro scene with Indy trying to keep the Celtic Religious cross from falling into the hands of a private collector. River Phoneix was set to be what Leo Decaprio became, instead the acting world lost another great talent to the world of drugs. R.I. P.
My favorite of all of them! Great reaction!
I’m here because of the Bible verses in the comments. Plus you are entertaining and you select great films.
Maybe get a hobby instead of a mythology.
Thank you!
Not gonna lie. I'm kinda impressed with your off-the-cuff-impersonations having such high levels of accuracy and snark.
19:48 He was admiral Ozal in Empire Strikes Back, and he played Hitler more than any other actor.
I just realized after all this time that Harrison conveniently always had a scar on his chin and in this film...he whips a scar onto his chin. That's pretty cool.
The way you said "Random tomb" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"This actor who's playing young Indy" was River Phoenix, one of the hottest young actors of the 1980s who starred in films like Stand By Me, My Own Private Idaho, and Running on Empty, which earned him an Academy Award nomination at the age of 18. His younger brother is actor Joaquin Phoenix. River sadly died in 1993 of a drug overdose at the age of 23, and many of the roles that he was intended for ended up going to Leonardo DiCaprio.
15:21 Plenty, this happens after Raiders. He killed quite a few, his dad, however, probably was not aware of this little tidbit.
19:46
That awkward moment when you accidentally get Hitler's autograph 😳
9:50 😂
You are just a precious gift. God bless you and what you do. :)
Thank you!
Harrison Ford just finished his last stint as Indiana Jones for untitled Jones 5 coming out next year.
This might just be me, but when the audio was edited, my ears kept confusing low-voiced River Phoenix with the actual Harrison Ford.
If you like Sean Connery you should watch The Rock.
or a Bond movie of his before watching him in The Rock
@@jayeisenhardt1337 Which one though. I feel You only live twice is a fun film to watch.
👍👍👍👍another wonderful reaction! Top notch cosplay, cute, cute, cute in that fedora!! Love to see you smile and laugh and enjoy these fantastic movies, thank you dear!! Take care out there in California..😄😄😄
Thank you so much!
@@Californiablend your very welcome, by the way...what's gas prices running out there??
Did you comment on Indy's chin scar from the whip? I might have missed it.
One blooper: Hitler was left-handed,
It *was* intended to be a trilogy. I'm sure it was the studio who wanted the fourth film, Indiana Jones and the Search for More Money.
I didn’t comment on Indiana’s chin scar. Thanks for sharing the fact
I'm glad to see you finally got to the 3rd film. Love the outfit, as well. It looks great on you.
Wow, Indy3! And great reaction :)
I fucking love your hair and your reaction the my all-time fav movie. Thank you.
Please let this not be another reactor who sees Sean Connery as 007 in “From Russia With Love” or “Goldfinger”, and says “OMG, I know that actor, it’s Indy’s dad!” 🤦♂️😆
They made a whole entire series for TV based on Young Indiana Jones and back when I was a kid the only way to find them was to scour flea markets and pawn shops for VHS tapes. Now they're all online and worth a viewing, especially the Trenches of Hell and Attack of the Hawkmen, which is some of the best World War One action ever filmed.
When we see young Indie use the whip for the first time, cutting his chin, it was done to explain why Indie had that scar on his chin.
This us my 3rd video I've watched 1st was silence the shining 2nd gran torino now this one and I subscribed from the 1st movie and this was only about an hour and a half ago.yes I watched all 3 back to back a I cried was scared and laughed I'm loving your reactions ty 😊
Absolutely gorgeous hair style. Best ever in my opinion. And I like how you style your cloth depending to the movie topics.
This reaction has some of your best freeze-frame worthy jumps and emotes so far! Thanks for the upload cheers!
The first Crusade was in 1096, so that Knight would have been almost 1000 years old.
Hilarious, another fantastic reaction.
IF you take requests/suggestions, try these films:
1: 2001 a space odyssey
2: 2010 the year we make contact
3: Starman
4: Hanger 18
5: The Maltese Falcon.
6: Batman 1989
7: 1953 War of the Worlds (AND it's 1988-1990 TV series sequel)
8: Highlander
9: The Last Starfighter
10: Paul
Thumbs up for the outfit.
OMG my favorite movie reactor BACK AT IT AGAIN
SEBBY SEB💙💙
Glad you enjoyed it. It kinda was a conclusion to Indy…..but no…..they had to do another one. Here’s the thing with last one(no spoilers)….1st three had more on location shooting, real sets, real critters/bugs, with some green screen moments. Fourth had too much cg, way too much. What do I know, I’m no multi millionaire film maker.
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😀
I was watching this video with my pals. They were like "Oh, my God, that woman is beautiful!!!"...
At the end I asked "what do you think about the movie?"; they answered "What movie?"
You are the most beautiful reactor I've ever seen.
Yeah she’s beautiful. Whoever gets to wifey her up is one lucky guy.
Sean Connery aka the first James Bond
24:42 He dotted his eye. ;)
Love the outfit, and love your vids... oh and God, wow, good job on her, very gorgeous, and a believer!!!! wowzers!!
This one was so good it was funny exciting and mysterious and I loved it😆
also some video games and a TV series. the 4th movie actually will reference adventures he had out side of the movies. But you don't need to know them to enjoy it.
You should really watch the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles
KJV “Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.”
The woman in the Temple of Doom who played the female lead ended up marrying Steven Spielberg
I guess Elsa should have just... Let it go...
yep, the trilogy is the classics and easily the best, I did not enjoy crystal skull which came out in 2008 and havn't watched the new one yet. I heard it's better but still not as good as the original 3. However in the early 90's there was a young indiana jones show. It wasn't that great but there was one episode where Harrison Ford did a couple scenes. They are on youtube. And finally that kid that played Indiana Jones as a teenager in this was named River Phoenix. He did another movie with Harrison Ford and in an interview he said he used to study Harrison's manorisms and try to immitate him which is why he did such a good job in this.
They made a tv show about Young Indy too
22:10 I feel bad for the birds, though.
Love the little cosplay. Looking good
The young actor that played young Indiana was River Phoenix, the older brother of Joaquin Phoenix. He overdosed in 1993.
7:20 the search for truth, ma'am.
They had no choice but to continue after the grail. In the hands of the Nazis could ruin the world. The last Indiana reveals a little more about Indy’s treasure hunts.
And it’s not treasure, it’s an artifact. Guess it depends on if you want it to go to a museum (artifact) or make money off it (treasure)
Late to the party, sorry. Happy to see you got THE HAT!
Still waiting on you to watch Rocky Balboa and the two Creed movies. Movie reactors really should finish a movie series before starting a new one. That's like cooking tomorrow's dinner in the middle of cooking tonights LOL
love your reactions i watch them all.and your so insanely beautiful
Thank you!
Never seen any of them, so this was fun 👍
Hi Hun Alvin from London here great video 🌹
Thank you!
My favorite of the trilogy. The Crystal Skull is not worthy of the same high regard as the original three.
Nice Fedora mam
In the blimp scene it was so hot, both Ford and Connery weren't wearing pants
21:41 Grand Theft Auto '38.
Linda pelicula saludos desde uruguay ❤❤👍😎
Indiana Jones 5 trailer is out in case you had not scene it yet fellas..... I don't want to spoil the Title of this Indiana Jones 5 film.. looks cool
That was River Phoenix playing young Indy. Fans were hoping he would go on to be the new Indy starting at the start. Sadly, he died of a drug overdose. His younger brother is Joaquin Phoenix, they look nothing alike.
Wow girl u looking beautiful an amazing
I'm in love
