Why have I never thought to make a coffee spray!? I mixed some up before I even finished watching this video! Such a great idea. And, you better believe I've going to have an old book and my stabilos with me on the couch this evening. Thanks for all the inspiration! :D

Do you seal the book pages prior to painting?
Sometimes I do. Not every time. Clear gesso or watercolor ground.
@@leacayoung9486 Thank you! I found an old dictionary and tried making marks with soft pastels and water, but noticed my papers rippled quite a bit.
@@jodiw3 I use thicker papers mostly but when I use dictionary paper I prep first
