To be fair, Ahamkara's coming from inside of traveler would make sense, like their wish magic, making thoughts into reality (sometimes twisted way) would make sense coming from a place where light and dark were constantly "fighting" in the Garden
Ntm to grant their own wish requires sacrifice, which the traveler is fond of
Also makes sense why they were found everywhere the traveler touched, other planets and civilizations.
I"ve always thought that perhaps these paracausal creatures- the worm gods, ahamkara, etc - all originated from a singular proto worm type species that were born in the ascendant realm or from the traveler- something along those lines. And then through branching evolution, developed into separate creatures. They all seem to use the moniker "Oh ___, Mine" and have some sort of ability to bestow or give something- i,e. power, desires through wishes, etc and also tend to have symbiotic or parasitic relationships with other creatures- Hive, humans, awoken, etc. Not to mention they do seem to have similar physical attributes as well.
I read this, but my head kept putting these words in an Osiris accent
Some Ahamkara reportedly went missing during the Great Hunt…
No way really?
@@RomanHallsyep, it is from season of the wish's artifact
@@ethanwinters3281 I was being sarcastic cause we killed the ahamkara
@@RomanHallsIf they "went missing" during the hunt that would imply they weren't killed
@@Lazy-Lizard Oh, I took it like they went missing because they WERE killed
Imagine. The Ahamkara where the biological species of the traveler. As ghost are the technology from the traveler. Yes I’m talking out of my *** but only one can imagine. Either way I’m very excited for the final shape. Even though I might regret it but hopefully I’m wrong. Also love your videos evaze.
There is lore that says the Ahamkara only appeared in our system when the Traveler arrived. I have shared this theory as well
it's like the dread are imprisoning and guarding what remains of the ahamkara within the pale heart. Tormentor, Subjugator, Ahamkara are exactly what the Witness wants to rid the universe of, he wants everything to be fixed in place, no change or randomness. the Ahamkara are the exact opposite of that shape, wish-allowers.
So, there is an ancient Precursor City inside the Pale Heart? Hmmm, and Ahamkara bones, that kinda suggests the possibility that the Ahamkara had a way INTO the Traveler!! Now a question: Do the Nine also have a 'presence' within the Traveler?
Riven did open a way for crow. Who’s to say they couldn’t do this for each other and how many escaped the great hunt.
The Pale Heart is made of memories so I wouldn't believe anything in there as having actually been in there before, it may just be the Witnesses memories
I think it’s just some nerdy simple shit some writers made up. Like the travelers innards just reflect memories of those inside of it or something weird like that
@@Grayves_Xlike he said lol didn’t read your comment before I said the same shit
I think it's too early to say that living Arhamkara made it inside the Traveler at some point in the past.
More likely to me, this is another case of The Pale Heart recreating past events and locations in the environment.
The skulls likely are meant to harken back to the Great Hunt and the destruction of the Ahamkara.
so ima go ahead and say i dont think this is the precursors city as they never went into the traveler, i think its a reflection that the witness put in the traveler when he went in just how we change the traveler when we go in
The strike name is Liminality one of the trailers features the name of the strike pretty prominently for a few seconds
The taken doesn’t “belong” to the witness, he’s just the most powerful entity who controls them.
I'm agreeing with you here. The revelation of the dread had me thinking this as well. The taken belongs to the Winnower.
@@Darth_Derisiveif it actually exist
@@schylerlongwell5424 That's the point. The taken may be proof that it does.
No they do belong do the Witness, the power of Taking originated with it, and it is tied to its power to also Take worlds…. It has been stated as being their *original* master, bc it *is* their creator.
@@Gwynbleidd_117 no, the power to take was taken from the deep, and we know something other than the witness is there thanks to the books of sorrow.
A forgotten city would be sick
See Neomuna
@@jyeturk7 I did I actually think of that when I was writing the post...then I realized it's less of a forgotten city and more of one we never knew existed in the first place cause I was built afterwords. When I think of a forgotten city I think of a more ancient city.
Bud wants to see that D2 version of the GTA VI map
@@Funnhouse good idea
@@Funnhouse you mean Los Angeles from real life?? 💀💀💀💀💀💀
The amhakara is a link... Manifistation & thoughts.
The veil doesnt know the practical side, the Traveller does. Its a cat&mice game. Almost like torned lovers ... The final shape is going to be about forgiveness & acknowledge...
Accepetence..
Are many people forgetting that the witness entered the traveler and so we are now. These ahamkara skulls are probably based up on memory from either us or the witness considering we’ve delt with them and the witness may have as well also they sent in pyramids when they opened the portal probably containing remains of some
What if the witness doesn't know the full story of its creation. Like it thinks it's always existed in tandem to the traveller. And similarly to witch queen we reveal the details we learn to the witness and throw it off course before kicking its ass (and having it blow up in our face but that's a topic for another time)
This is how I see it. The dragon's and worms share a ancestor with the worms in the Garden. They evolved until Ahsa's race. Then split off to create the dragon's and the worm gods. Each evolving in different paths according to how close to the darkness they was.
Something to remember: nearly all strikes/Nightfalls are taken from story missions.
It's funny, since D1 I've told my friends that the traveler is just the ship. Kinda like Brainaic, always collecting and holding powerful things through the sol system and granting power to those who it needs to protect it. Wouldn't be surprised if we meet the traveling and it's some sort of celestial creature piloting this giant ball.
Id assume the Witness has been having difficulty enacting the final shape hence why it hasnt enacted it before we get in. Its not too outlandish to think it may have taken notes from how crow got in and is trying to use the arhamkara as a method of gaining connection with the light.

Good vid
The human mind is a matrix of differences connected to this body but it can share the difference between the real and unreal. The ahamkara have a larger matrix and see and smell and have other senses that reach out and allow them to manipulate and see the differences like how our eyes perceive light and the things that interact with it. The ahamkara have more interactive bodies and senses. Like if you imagine chi or energy they can see and use it but way more than just chi. So when they feed on our wish they feed on the differences and give us a twisted one and it’s not like they are forced to, it’s like they are animals and unknowingly eat it all up. That’s why the male that riven liked was smart and wise because it tried to symbiotically grow with us, like Jesus tried but he was murdered. It’s honestly awesome. The humans hurt them and so they hurt us and it’s a misunderstanding through the past and violence. Why would he want his kids in danger so the plan was to make sure they were in a safe place and time until one could listen and share to help instead of destroy.
3:30 i know this is small but the pronunciation of the boss is very likely to be
Ka-tax-ia
I know this due to how every letter is capitalized and in most fonts a capital I is spelled just like a lowercase l (why they don't differentiate them I have no idea) but this is just to help for future pronunciations of the boss for anyone like Evaze who are unintentionally mispronouncing it and confusiong themselves.
To me, it seems like the ahamkara originated from the traveler. So far every planet that the traveler has visited, has either had an ahamkara or hive worm present, besides mars.
Even then, worms and ahamkara do tend to show up wherever the traveller is concerned
They could also be following the traveler. Knowing that wherever the traveler goes a bountiful place of wants and wishes is always guaranteed.
Didn’t Mars have the worm god Xol on it trapped under the ice until Warmind?
@@Hazy18 it did, but the point is these things are all a byproduct of the traveller and veil
@@Hazy18 Yeah i forgot about that
The witness probably pulled a Rhulk and snatched up a few kara to study them hence the misshapen body we see but them being inside The travelers probably just another manifestation of their memory. Most of the architecture we see inside The travelers based off memory and the witnesses own design
Theory: Savathun's bargain with Riven created the guardians, made the Traveler dormant to appear dead and send away the Witness, moved the veil into hiding, wiped out every ahamkara that isn't descended from Taraniss so they have a desire for altruism, taught the Awoken how to fight the Taken, the Scorn, and the Hive, lead to humanity understanding and defeating sword logic, and possibly put Elsie into the time/dimension loop. We've all been wished into an army that can defeat the Witness and then move into an interdependent intergalactic and interdimensional civilization.
U can see the tormentor in the background and it looks the same and is doing the same movement (reaching the hand in the air) as the nezzerac looking tormentor from the trailer we say called into the traveler.
Nezzerac made from parts of ahamkara could be what allowed him to use void so long ago? How do tormentors use void??? It’s a light power. Ahamkara maybe?
I really feel like though there's the bones present, it feels like a copycat of memories from the Witness. They only seem to show in the areas that have been corrupted. I'm probably wrong but I'm ready to find out!
Random theory: The ahamkara are witness species pets😁
It would be cool if we got a lot more on the Ahamkara in game. I know we had Season of the Wish but I just don’t think it did them justice fully.
If this is how they “transcend” death it lends credit to the in universe theory that they are indeed a neo life form created by the traveler
I'm hoping theres a chance that bungie made one of the dread units to be an Ahamkara that would be cool
Btw if you look more carefully then you may notice that lava is rising in this forgotten city strike (looks better in titan gameplay trailer)
4:30 there are faces in the wall and something sticking out on the right
Heres the thing, the light literally creates life from nothing by shooting a giant beam from the traveller and transforming whatever it hits. And they said the Pale Heart is transforming itself to match our memories and experiences. What makes you think these are "real" ahamkara and not just a construct from the Pale Heart?
Wasn't there a mention that wherever the Traveler went, the Ahamkara weren't far behind?
Supposedly during the great hunts..there were supposedly 7-13 (I can't remember the exact amount) of them that were never found..Byf talked about it somewhat..as if they vould be the. Potential protagonists after the witness (and since we gathered rivens eggs).. but..what if those who escaped want vengeance for the slaughter of their kin? As far as we know...only taranis fed on the happiness his wishes granted..riven admits this, as it was..rare. most wish dragons fed on the paracausal and sorrow filled energies that their wish fulfilling caused. The stronger ahamkara turning over their weakers to the witness and feeding off the tortured energies..helping the witness to get revenge on humanity.. thats a pretty twisted idea...but the ahamkara cared about power and pride it's no stretch. Also (if I remember) we've never really heard where the dragons come from...they just seem. They didn't come from the dreaming city..though a few found home there..ive always wondered
What Ahamkara has plans for the final shape? and is there an armor of Ahamkara for Guardians for the final shape?
How about this : we know through the new released lore book that RS is the weakest link in the witness foundation and if somehow the guardians will utilize the ahamkara which supposedly lie dead in the old witness's city magic to break RS from the witness and hence weakening it.
How about this.. in the latest lore book from the final shape collector's edition we have learned that RS was the weak link in the witness precursors.. so going with that :
What im wondering is the discrepancy between the design of the ahamkaras like riven and the bones we find in this strike or warlords ruin. Or even on exotics armor pieces. The skulls are so different and i dont understand why?
Ahamkara are shape-shifters. So technically they can look like anything. As a species they probably had subsets and variations which explain why they may look different and sometimes similar
Id like to visit the heart of the city that was beneath the traveler
Only queston is: Ahamkara pet when?
Do you not see the faces on the wall at 4:30…. What are those???
Why are the Taken eyes orange? I don't recall any lore that causes their eyes to change color like that.
Is it possible that there is something else that can give light, give life like a spirit and there are spirits of darkness that serve (The Witness / something else) ?????
anyone else notice the faces in the cave walls? :)
More stuff about dragons in the world of Destiny, count me in
There was a lote piece about do you weep or care for those that never existed...the forgotten, do they really matter?
Imagine if ahamkara are actually powered by the light
This might be disturbing but...what if, every time our ghosts revive us, it turns out theyre making a wish without knowing it?
Ive said it once I'll say it again
Ahamkara are the Light's work gods
probably due to the wish and crow
The more we hear about the wish dragons the more i think that leak about Destiny 3 being called code Payback seems legit. And it's not us getting Payback it's the wish dragons getting their payback.
They are so uncreative…I’m sure they don’t know themselves.
The funniest thing is, that they even told us that they don’t know nothing about the lore or story in Bungies official streams, they showed us that they don’t even know the simplest things - like the intentions of the witness, they don’t know what they are doing.
The lore and story is lost long time ago in Destiny, a story that had a unbelievable high potential
Hot take: Bungie should being back OG Prison Or Elders in the Legends tab, for Final Shape

Ham karas!
Ham karas!
Where is the traveler from?
I think someone in the lore mentioned that they thing the Traveler emerged from a void. But I don't think anyone truly knows
South Dakota
So I have always said the pale heart is the home planet of the witness which I still think is true because of all the things from the origins cutscene that explains the witness. If it is true and the pale heart is the home planet of him can someone plz explain why the hell he is trying to destroy his planet??!
Also interesting theory could we use the eggs to have Rivens people be reborn and fight along side them in the final battle against the witness and the fleet. Guardians fight him while the worm gods fight Rivens people??
And I'm pretty sure the pale heart is just the witnesses interpretation of what drives the traveler.
@@Code-Red424yes I had that conversation with someone this morning very fascinating if you ask me
