I recently finished a scenario that I recommend checking out, it's called "Tyrant" and puts you in a position of a post-apocalyptic dictator while replacing money with grain. Just make sure to read initiative descriptions, some of them give or take away reputation. I don't exactly want to sell out or anything, I'm just proud of a scenario I made and would love for someone to actually play it- just keep in mind it's difficult, you must play it a couple times to understand how it works before winning on brutal becomes possible.
P.S: There are 2 secrets I put among initiatives. One of them requires some specific civilian investments, while the other is much easier to find. Unfortunately, I forgot to write "Praise Pravus".

Also people tend to not understand how Order 227 worked. You are allowed to retreat, but only if it's needed, like you're about to get encircled or order came for you to retreat, etc. Basically if you justify your retreat and it's not going to be dangerous for neighbouring divisions, you are allowed to go back. Order 227 was installed because before it people just randomly abandoned their positions in panic and there was no punishment for doing so, just "a slap on the wrist", as they say. After Order 227 such reckless behaviour became punishable by death

This semester I have history, and we learned all about Operation Barbarossa. Watching this video actually looked very accurate with the successful German offensive before facing strong defenses. I watched a video that showed a simulation to what it looked like on the map with the Germans invading Soviet territory, and it looks very similar, except the Soviets in real life managed to push back and annihilate the German offensive, albeit with a very high casualty count.
General definitely became even better, because well 3 garrisons instead of 1 allows securing of Zones but also later support garrisons (if you manage to survive early game that is). Because Civilian Initiatives cost 50% more 3:18 Its kind of funny how there were 2 biggest evils at one time and both were bad. Well Stalin didn't intentionally starve his people he was still a monster but he wanted to boost russian industry and just tried to do it way too fast and ruined the agriculture and he for sure didn't care that some peasants starved nor that he lost so many troops.
Historical funfact: When Hungary got invited to the war (which was bad and also a bit too early) the hungarians sended their Rapid Corps, which consisted of horsemen, chariots, low-quality tanks, and even BICYCLES. The funniest thing is that firstly it scared away soviet troops, while the germans knew that just like Poland: we stuck on WWI tactics.
