Steps To Work In The U.S.A As A Migrant Nurse

- In order to know if you are eligible to work in the USA as a Registered Nurse when living in another country, you must contact the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) to see if you're qualified. When you know where in the US you'd like to work, you can apply to that state's Board of Nursing and take the NCLEX-RN providing you have a US visa. In this video, I will explain how I did my process and you can follow suit.
My Steps
___________
1. I met the educational requirements ( Was already a nurse)
2. contact the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) to see if you're qualified. If qualified then
3. Prep for the N-Clex exam
4. Take and pass an English language proficiency test, if mandated (I did the TOFEL which is more accessible than the Me Lab)
5. I took and pass the National Council Licensing Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX - RN)
Obtain credential evaluation
6. I found a nursing recruiting agency and a US-based employer
7. Apply and obtain an RN immigrant visa/green card
8. Then I accept an RN position

they still need PTE ielts or Toefl English exam pass scores as a Jamaican Nurse unless u use one of the 5 states that are exempted by CGFNS.
Please try the Melab it is easier
@@evanitystartv I’ve already done ielts but I also don’t see Melab being asked for it’s actually my first time hearing of that one. The three I mentioned are what’s now being asked for by CGFNs

So your intentions changed or your intentions in the first place was to be able to work and live in the United States. The whole point of being qualified for a b1/b2 is proving you have no intent to move there permanently.
