Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 чер 2024
- Of course I would love everyone to become a fellow Nurse Practitioner :) But on a more serious note, you have to know if you truly have it in you to become one.
3:05 - Consider these 4 things:
3:15 - #1 Can you practice w/ full autonomy?
5:46 - #2 Your interest/degree aligns w/ your chosen job field
8:02 - #3 Money (Biweekly vs. Monthy Salary Pay)
10:25 - #4 What is your current thinking process?

Great, and informative, video! You have mentioned many of the reasons why I am doing what I am doing! Sharing your video on my channel! 👍👍
Awesome, thank you!
This is so good! Loved the verse at the end!
It's crazy how a profession (IT) that saves computers earn more than a profession that saves lives. I see why nurses are leaving the medical field and pursuing other avenues. What a joke.
The difference is IT doesn’t have the job security of a nurse, not even close.
So timely! Thank you Lord🙏🏽 So glad you're back on YT!! ❤
This video needs to go viral you hit all the points!!!! Thank you ❤🙏🏾

Awesome video, great explanations, came in at the right time since I'm enrolled in a FNP program👍
Awesome and congrats my future NP! 😉
I agree that an RN should demonstrate critical thinking and be able to see the whole picture of care being provided for the patients. On the other hand, I've been reading how they want to start phasing out masters and asking NP to get their Doctorates. So maybe applying soon to an NP program might be beneficial to be "grandfather in" before the prerequisite of having a doctorate is placed.
This just changed my life ❤❤❤❤ thank you.
✨🙏🏾✨
@@NPHPlife how much do you charge for educational consulting and advising?
Yes pls do a video on how to contact the provider…
Never knew I was subscribed to your channel but I'm happy youtube brought me back to you. Quick question. I know the goal post is moving once again and NPs will be required to obtain a Doctorate soon. However if we apply and get accepted into an MSN program this year would we be ok to obtain the MSN for licensure. Especially with a graduation date post the implementation of the new regulation.
Heyyyy- So, I am still not exactly sure what they plan to do in that situation.. Ive been searching around for more information regarding that but still no straightforward answer but of course once I find out I will share asap.
In my area it is heavily over saturated and many are working as RNs. This has driven the pay down low. My first NP contract was significantly less than my RN pay.
Amen!
Amen 🙏🏽
I live in a small town in Texas. I wonder if the lack of overtime and being salary based is the reason why the FNPs here also provide beauty products ex. Botox, prp, and body sculpting. For the extra cash, I've spoken with a couple of FNPs and was told they make more money with beauty services than their salary 🤔
Yes def could be and depends on how often ate they getting their hard earned raises .. but yes the Aesthetics world is winning right now and only growing so adding that on is def a plus !!
In Florida new graduate nursing practitioners are only making $5 dollars more than registered nurses. At my hospital none of the new NP’s have left bedside yet. Including my charge nurse.
Wow.. def need to consider the pay .. wondering since they are pushing for doctoral trained NPs in the best future will we then see a big difference in pay?!?
Doing away with masters NP?
"one line pagers" 😂 I work night shift and when I page providers and try to start with the full SBAR, some doctors will interrupt me and sound annoyed. Still trying to find that perfect medium where I am concise yet thorough in my calls to the doc or NP. I also tend to speak nervously fast because I feel they don't have the time or patience for my phone call 🥲. I start NP school in August btw..I hope I have what it takes!
And it’s def the fear 😮
dont these nurses know how to use SBAR???
😩 I guess they forget once they start practicing smh
Looks like the lowest paid
I'm confused, so do you like kids? 😂😂
I love my own kids 😂😂.. but I just can’t emotional deal with very sick kids, I would rather change places with them and thats not healthy if I work with them daily!!
@NPHPlife I feel the same way, very difficult to see a child In pain, the walls I build up to be able to focus and do what needs to be done as an ER, RN come crumbling down with the kiddos
When I saw the report I was like whaattttt 🤔 lemme ask for a raise before I even start my job 😂. Ok I’ll wait till next year , because ONGYN NPs are hard to come by 🫶🏽
