If this is was announced before I bought the X670E I would love to buy this motherboard at most the B650E.
Actually the B650E version of it is a great value.
I've had my eye on this motherboard since it was announced, any idea when it will be released?
I saw it selling on a indonesian website i think, but they taking a year to start selling it worldwide, and i just need a motherboard to finish the build... anyways unlucky will need to get something else

@@yeahk241Was just an expression with the "year long waiting", anyways they announced start of january and they did another post's about it like 2 days ago. Almost march and not even a single release date. It's a shame i will need to get other board

This is either a B650E chipset or Asrock is misleading about the Pcie 5x16 Gen-5 GPU slot , because the B650 chiplet does not support Pcie 5x16 for the GPU.
You are correct. It appears that the slot is PCIe 5.0 x16 slot on this motherboard is not designed for graphics. But it can be used for PCIe 5.0 devices such as NVMe etc.

Yeah I nocited that too. ASrock might be misleading on the B650 motherboard. Either the PCIe 5.0 can’t be used for Garphics via firmware block or they made a mistake. I would honestly be willing to try it just to see.
But honestly they do have a B650E version for only $20 more than it, so I would just spend the extra $20 and get that. Right the B650 one is only $180.
If you look at the Blok diagram in the manual, you can see the ambiguity. From the CPU it nominates Gen4x16 AND Gen5x16. Strange!! It might be switching Gen. Depending how you fill your slots. This is fishi marketing by Asrock. I bet a lot of people who bought this MB just believed what they read.
BTW.. The review sites (including this site) should pick up on this, rather than blindly regurgitating Asrock Specs.
Just so everyone knows the B650E steel Legend is only $20 more, has better VRMS, and has a PCIE 5.0 slot that can actually do PCIE 5.0 on the graphics.

Yeah ASUS does sucks but Asrock Does have their bad apples sometimes. I would say get the B650E model instead for $20 more. The B650 ver isn’t cheap enough to consider as it $180 and there possible lieing claiming that the PCIE located on the top can do PCIE 5.0 for Garphics.

No this is the B650 Steel Lengend with slightly weaker VRMS. I would say spend the extra $20 on the B650E version instead as it has better VRMS and a slot that can do PCIe 5.0 on the Garphics.
If the B650 steel lengnd would have been around $150 then I would been okay with getting it over the B650E

I argee this motherboard is $180. While their B650E version is only $20 more. Additionally there X670E ver is only an additional $60-80 depending on the seller (Amazon)
I’m thinking of buying the B650E version instead of the normal version but those extra $20 ($200) already reach the import tax limit in my country and I’m thinking about it, I hope I can find it at a discount for some $190 or $180 to be able to buy without customs problems, since due to the Taces it goes over $200 and they charge me import tax
