I do agree with you that By The fireplace is my favorite but Jazz Club is a hit for me, I love it. I have Under the Lemon Tree and By the Fireplace but I wear Jazz Club the most. This is just my opinion but it wears very well on my skin.

In my opinion Jazz Club smells pretty similar to The One EdP. It's the same type of scent ...but a better version. There is a really nice coconut vibe in it. And I think it is more versatile then By the Fireplace. But both are very good fragrances :-)

But it's smoother imo.

I say give JC some time. I found it very linear at first as well but after quite a few wears the complexity really opened up. The vetiver and clary sage become very evident. It's a deceptive frag imo.

They are not the similar JC & DG... there are more similarities by the fireplace and stronger with you absolutely

I didnt care for either by the fireplace or jazz club. The marketing is genius, but I dont find the smell appealimg. I just cant find a proper use situation for by the fireplace. Jazz club is night out but there are better choices I like Versace Man for that. The one I did like is at the barbers, that is wearable and nice.

If you like matcha bubble tea (with a minty top note) get your hands on Replica Tea Escape. To me Jazz Club smells like root beer flavored hard candy (root beer barrels).

Just received jazz club after blind buying online, after the good reviews i thought it was safe to blind buy and i can strongly recommend not doing this as my opinion is this is definitely a female fragrance!
