It's nice that you point out which ones might be appropriate for different types of runners.

I'm looking forward to the Fast Fours: Speed 4, Pro 4, SC Elite 4, Adios Pro 4. How does one choose?

Thanks! Asics wasn't giving any news on the Superblast 2 but they hinted it would be debuting sometime in 2024

These are my Number 1, Second the Salomons, Third probably the Sauconys. (Noting that the Nike always have the top spot).

if you want something you can also train in, i'd suggest the boston 12. it has a firmer foam midsole set up and fiberglass energy roads that add some additional stiffness. if you want a shoe only for racing, i'd suggest the new balance sc elite v4 or saucony endorphin pro 3. both have a carbon plate and bouncy race foam that's not too soft

Weird that you’re soft-selling the SC Elite v4. You could say the same about any of the other shoes here if you already own the Vaporfly or Endorphin Pro 3. Besides, I think the look of the NB is killer and it’s a good bit cheaper than the Diadora, whose style you extolled

thanks for watching! i agree sc elite looks cool but other than the 4mm drop nothing about it is that different or gets me excited 🤷🏽‍♂️ on the other hand i appreciate the craftmanship going into the diadora gara - i should have also mentioned it will likely be made in italy and the plate is engineered by an italian racecar manufacturer to have a unique angle. also it's been lab verified as more efficient than the vaporfly (some of this stuff prob won't make a difference for most of us but helps justify the price tag)

I think that NB is really cool looking. But mainly, I like that drop. I think the 4mm will work well for me.
