What all these haters won't admit is that Luka Doncic might very well be the best player in the NBA, and he played that entire playoff run on a sprained knee. Klay needs to realize that he’s not a scorer anymore, he’s a shooter. Just have Kyrie and Luka serve him at the 3 and he should get some decent numbers next year.

@@enterpassword3313 scores and shooters are not the same. Scorers create their own offense at will. Can handle and command double teams. Klay has always had a weak handle. And for his position his athleticism is subpar. He’d be a deadly shooter for the Mavs. Catch and shoot and run the floor for easy baskets.
To put him just to do that makes it more predictable. They should be moving and make corner threes every other time.

Na, the Conference itself is scary. No easy games. You have the top 10 teams last season. A really good Rockets team that got better. Grizzlies will be healthy. Jazz & Spurs are doing great job rebuilding their team with draft. Trailblazers are the weakest but have some young talent.
The healthiest and hottest team during playoffs will represent the conference. There will be good teams missing playoffs.

I don't see any team in the western conference that's going to be dominant like the Celtics. It's going to be a close race all the way to the end. Every game will matter.
As for the Jazz and Spurs I don't view them as playoff team yet but they can very much play spoiler to teams that are trying to clinch a seed or stay out of the play-in.
For example Spurs played spoiler at the end of season. Beating both Nuggets and Pelicans were crucial. Pelicans win they stay out of play-in (loss their best player in that game). Nuggets win they clinch #1 seed (Very good chance the Mavericks don't even make the conference finals).
