Love that you guys put up this video my dad use to take my brother and I to Azusa canyon to off road in the early 80s ..so many great memories wish he was here still ...thanks for bringing me back I needed to remember those days today ...
it was good to see some Colorado zr2 s in the video, your toyota is so much more capable now compared to back in the old days when you were 1st wheeling it . good video
Love those Chevy Blazers they are sweet. I had a few of them in the 90s. My first one was a 77 rusted out bad but it would go threw anything. Had a kid weld up drives side floor at the high school. The last ride i took it on was with all my cousins and uncle. The rear wheel well fell of in a big mud hole. After getting driving it back home i pulled it all apart and build a 70 pickup truck with axles and drive train.
Good to see another video. Hope to maybe see them add an easier way down into the mud section kind like a ramp down where you can choose the easy way or hard way depending on what you run on your rig. Keep up the great work man and if any other updates come along let us know. I am hoping to maybe set something up either this year or next year with ya'll.
I got a 78 GMC Jimmy and man i love that beast air conditioning and all work plus it has a 350 bog block built and it still gets right around 18 to 20 mpg. Nobody ever believes that until i prove it to em lol
Another Great Video,,,it was Happening back in the 90s also way more trucks back in the day…can’t wait to get back out there,,killer Drone Footage brother
everyone lending a hand on the hill climb is what i grew up with in missouri..someone always had a tow ring full of parts and tools as well in case you broke something..it was real similar to that old chevy tow rig yall have..stay safe and stay in the mud
Hey! I saw your truck this past weekend. I was there when you got caught on that hill everyone got stuck on. It was my first time back since about 15 years. Great stuff out there. Will be back for sure. Great video, by the way. Especially the drone shots.
Back in my 4wheeling days 1990 -93 at azusa canyon there use to be some crazy ass dare devil shit believe it or not the suzuki samurai was a climbing machine.
❤ great video I love that first drone shot. Did you mean the 18th? Father’s Day is on Sunday the 18th great video can’t wait to get back in the mud.-(DIGGER)❤
Do any of yous use the Ball joint deletes on your axles? Seen them done on Bleeping jeep. They shoud do it so they dont have broken shafts and break lines. Awesome video and i Subscribed
@@66Duffman Kool thank you for the info that is a ways away from me but not as far as I was thinking as I am up in Ferndale WA about 15 minutes from the Canadian border on I5 so kinda doable always looking for new places to take the lifted subie out
I like watching mudding and going when I have something to go in that I don't worry about messing it up but that just looks like a disaster. That's to much mud to deal with for me. Now I would sit on the edge and watch but noway I'd go out there.
I have a question for the off-road community my new pickup doesn't have lockers are they expensive to install after market without tripping every sensor
Good video man but i wanted to see Hunty go up the hill with the 37s. Cant wait to get back out on the trails. Stay safe family and have a great fathers day weekend. 🙏
1:25 that looks like a pavement princess and im not talking about the woman lol but hey it made it and atleast they are out thier instead of in a mall parking lot🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️😁😁❤
@@66Duffman ah that’s what I figured. Looks like a fun time with fun people!! I’ll have to check out that place, although I’ve might’ve been when I was younger
Hey quick question. I don't mean to muk up the fun with some capitalism. But, if you get stuck and someone helps you out, is it customary to give them a little something? Or not in this realm?
Nah over here in Azusa were all about helping each other out, people have tried to charge for recoveries in the past but we’ve always stayed away from doing that
I gave a thumbs-up without watching a second of the video, simply for the refreshingly correct "its" in the title instead of the most-frequently misused contraction.
The Ford driver was to scared on that gravel hill all he had to do was get some momentum and take another angle to get around those holes he digs when he bogs down he keeps letting out to early don't let out till you stop going forward when you stop moving let out but there was times he let out when he woul have had it the truck needs more power and wider tires
@nicolec7290 It wouldn't be impossible to have your own. I've seen several 6 door pickups in eastern Tennessee that were fairly new and looked professionally done. 2 of them were together at a traffic light, so there might be someone making them around here, but I found a place called King Series that makes them in South Dakota. There's also the F-350 Centurion from the '90s, although it's only an "extended crew cab" instead of a 6 door. I don't know what the former runs, but you can pick the latter up for $15k or less.
it's amazing what these people think that these new pick up thinks that people will go through, they do not make them like they used to, it's all plastic now I would not take a new pickup off road, as a matter of fact I would not have a new pickup truck. if I wanted a new pickup truck I would buy a 80s or 90s pickup truck and build it up

very funny. But the drivers are inexperienced. cars are good, but no experience. on quicksands, you need to keep the tire pressure low and avoid slipping
