I didnt grow up playing this game, but the first time i heard this song, in my high school days, i was blown. The fuck. Away.i didnt think that a playstation 2 game would have such an intense song in its own game, much less a game where there are disney characters. I will never forget the voice acting in this game.
Honestly they did a great job with the remix but the original version of this song is just perfect. Also Yoko is a genius for adding in a part that almost sounds bittersweet (at 35 seconds in)
I can see why this track is called the 13th struggle and plays not only for axel but for luxord as well while most of the other members seemed to have some ill will towards Roxas Luxord was one of the few who really didn't have anything against him and in fact felt a bit depressed that roxas turned his back on them same as axel so in a way it must have been hard for not just axel but for Luxord to put down a fellow member (well I know Luxord fought sora but from his view he was also fighting Roxas as well)

Don't forget, Sora and Spyro both use Fire, Ice/Blizzard, Lightning/Thunder, Water, and Wind/Aero. Imagine if Spyro can use a Cure ability like Healing Breath.
