- Payung Getaway is a campsite / campervan park on the east coast of Malaysia in a small village called Cherating. This area is famous for Wind Surfing, Surfing and Camping. In this video we spend a week just chilling out with our dogs Roxy and Bo swimming.

Watching this video of yours is like meditate in the deep forest beside a waterfall. It gives me a sense of peace, a sense of tranquility which we are hard to find these days. My former Japanese MD used to say "Simple Is The Best"! Understand this is easy but it is rather hard to do.
I never been to Cherating. Shame to say this as a Malaysian. Definitely will visit this place after this pandemic is over. Good job guys! As usual stay safe and stay healthy!!!!

Great drone footage. Really nice doing this kind of thing outdoor in warm M'sia's weather. Cold weather camping can get miserable quick even with proper gear.

Hi Guys, thanks for showing another beautiful spot, it looks very well manage for a camping and bondocking site, even tho it is simple and easy setup but tons of work, a big shout out to Dan & Olga! So good to see you guys having a blast even at such time, couldn't believe Bo & Roxy enjoying and kept swimming even hit by waves, Shiraz would quickly swim back to shore lol. next have to drag her out...after a while she forgot and kept swimming. Glad that you guys take a rest, I believe to produce such videos take days to edit and the amount of shooting n heaps of footage, how much footage you have to cut away before churning this great video?
Somehow or rather I didn't received this notification and was thinking where have you guys been and do a quick search and now get to see this episode, another happy time youtubing seeing you guys! Wish you all safe and happy travels soon......

Which model of Goal Zero are you using? They are good! I once got to know it from another vanbuild video in UK, when i started to study the whole solar system concept and found this piece can really save a lot of works building one ourselves 😝
We have the Goal Zero Yeti 400 Agm and the Yeti 1400 Lithium. Both are fab. ☺

this was our 1st campsite ..our 1st love...indeed very beautiful and interesting place to camp or campervan..can get the best of both side, beach for sunrise, river for sunset..will repeat again when this pandemic slowing down..#staysafe #kitajagakita..
