My mouth was watering then you put the bowls down for the dogs. Good to see your friends being looked after extremely well. The van set-up is great, everything you need for a top weekend.
Hi Charles, it's very hot during the day so we had to jump into the cold stream in the afternoon. By 5pm the sun is behind the hill and temp begins to drop, by 8pm drastic drop and at night freezing cold with a lot of dew. Hoping Capt Nik plants some trees for shade or builds some shade for campervans. 😊
Diah Dorailla Mohd Zain hai there, mine is very different from what you find in Decathalon. Ours has an open ceiling so you don't suffocate inside. ☺ Get it from DG color in Mutiara Mall Jalan Ipoh. Ask the onwer Elaine for the pop up changing tent. ☺
We designed it and then got a welder friend to make it. You can find him on FB facebook.com/faizul.izzadam tell him 24hourtravellers gave you his contact. ⭐
Just wondering, I have a terrible phobia of the local malays who might come and attack my dogs if I bring them along. Did u have any bad experience before?
To help answer your question here is a message from Captain Nik Huzlan owner of Rimba Valley Campsite - 1.Malays normally run away from dogs and very seldom attack dogs. 2. At Rimba Valley Campsite no malays ever attacked our three resident dogs, most of them actually save their bbq bones for the dogs. 3. Owners are expected to practice good and responsible dog ownership protocol, ie, leash if dogs are frisky, exercise concern of the dogs are always barking at other guests. 4. Do ensure dogs do not pee and poo everywhere and anywhere at the campsite. As for our 24hourtraveller's personal experience, no one has been nasty to our dogs. It isn't just one particular race you should be cautious of, as long as you are in public property, you should practice care with your pets. Not all humans know how to handle being near dogs. If your pets are not obedient and don't do as you say, free roaming is dangerous as they could get lost. We suggest always starting by going to Pet Friendly resorts to camp first and monitor the behaviour of your pets. From there, you will learn how to travel with them. When we started in 2012, we always went to Ruby's Resort and from there we gained experience. Start within a gated property and work on your relationship with your pets and socialize them with other dogs and humans there. Takes a while to gain cofidence.
We feel safe in our homeland Malaysia and Thailand. Takes some experience to know your surroundings and also we share a safety video linked here ua-cam.com/video/Wijfjhmvyc8/v-deo.html People outside of the capital city are generally very nice. There's just a higher crime rate in the capital of a country which is the same in most countries.
