A surprisingly good video. Very brave of you guys to do this in Southeast Asia, that is still lacking in infrastructure for van life. You have a true pioneering spirit.
Hey David, thank you. Thailand was an easy travel because they have a thriving van life community and many well priced campsites - but we didn't continue onto Laos yet as we had to adjust our Van Build. Returned to Malaysia and bought a bigger van. :)

Definitely will do in a future video. Entry is quite simple for Thailand but it is the insurance that is most important. ☺ espcially for vans.

National Parks in Thailand are all well maintained. Some can be a bit expensive to enter - this was one of the more affordable ones. :) Lovely and clean.

Wahyu Yudha Yudha Thailand does not allow Indonesian car plate to drive thru their land, only Malaysian and Singapore plates allowed. You have to double check this info with immigration.

Don't wait too long to do it plan for it and it can happen on a small budget. No need spend too much money to make a camper.

I am planning to buy a toyota commuter in Thailand and pay someone there to convert it into a camper van. My questions and concerns as follows:
-is safe to travel and sleep in a camper van in Thailand
-is there plenty of camp ground and dump station
-if you buy a camper in Thailand, can you register the an in your own name , if you’re only visit only 1 month out of the year
Yes safe to travel. Yes many campgrounds, PPT for dumping. Not sure about campervan dump stations. As for vehicle registration Thailand we have no knowledge but you can search for a guy called Camper Thailand on Facebook he is helpful.

I am looking for a van here in Thailand to begin the full time van life. I biggest concern is staying cool. I will require a large van and extend the top so that I can stand.

@@24hourtravellers I have my doubts if things ever normalize I may just rotate in and out of Thailand every six months. Do the van life state side and live in a cheap condo on the beach in Pattaya Thailand. I have to find a partner to swap out with and just exchange the stealth van for the condo.
